Unfair I tell you.

I was on a 2G data plus line package from Cybersmart with the added on services of Grow for life, and Night rider
Now that they have a weekender basic package that seems to be a similar package but with a saving for me, I have decided to change my package. They want to charge me a R200 downgrade fee which I feel is unreasonable seeing that I am paying for 2G of data every month.
My cap has now grown to 2.33 G but its not that I am on a higher package, I paid up every month for the service. How can I be charged for adding to my cap AND be charged for downgrading (even though its not really a downgrade in terms of my monthly subscription)

With Cybersmart, the best way to downgrade is to cancel your account, and move to another ISP.

Why do you still bother with them? Switch to MWEB uncapped. The best thing since sliced bread! Cybersmart are still living in 2001.

Hi

This particular case is in fact an error , your cap as you explained was not downgraded, it just looked like you had a bigger cap because of the grow accumulation. This part of the software will need to be fixed. Email me [email protected] and I will reverse the downgrade penalty.
