For some reason the last 2 days every so often the international link drops(i know because i play international telnet game, game drops and thankfully i am not clanning else i'd be pissed off) but the SA link continues without issues.. so i was wondering is this a general problem or something? maybe its time i go buy me some axxess gigs again.

Yep, same thing is happening to me, im with cybersmart, started after their "long awaited" line upgrade, or whatever it is called.

So so so tired of the constant problems with Cybersmart/SAOL.
Which company currently doesn't provide terrible service? I'd like to switch.

Yeah me three... Every company offers the same mediocre service/product and what's the common thread??!!!! All ISP's are piggy banking on Telkom...
Well reason i ask this is that they are not strictly saix based as axxess and other isp's.. hard to explain but it looks like traffic is routed differently it seems thru their own gateways? and often i find when cybersmart is giving issues, saix is not giving the same issues.
An infamous problem i use to have was with facebook and msn never working with the cybersmart account last yr while working perfectly with std saix based ones.
Still not sure if its sorted yet, but i do notice that between 1am and 8am it doesn't give me issues at all.. i wonder if its something to do with the after hrs package.. -shrug- anyways.. will check it out later today but as i have been on pc now for last 40minutes its not disconnected yet. so hopefully its sorted.

I don't get any timeouts or anything, I'm just fed up with all their routing ! Its really pathetic to say the least, international browsing with them, just isn't what it used to be anymore. Thinking of cancelling my account end of Feb and signing up with Axxess at the end of March.
I have had the same problem guys. I lost my cool completely and a swore at alot of people there and eventually they transferd me thru to one of the owners who put me onto the saix server. so my username changed to username @ saix.cybersmart.co.za
Much faster but they cooked there goose.
I have open my own ISP. at the moment I am using Axxess Servers and prices are more aless the same. but once I am running properly I would like to pride myself on service.
