Cybersmart Uncapped!

Okay so i don't know if anyone knows about this, because its the first time im hearing about it. Cybersmart are offering uncapped deals! I was inquiring with them about their nightrider bundle via email, in which at the end they gave me the details for their uncapped packages. They dont appear on their website though :/ - still going to ask them why :)

My guess is, they have 'secret' uncapped packages being kept aside, to prevent their existing customers who are leaving them for uncapped internet with other ISP (because supposedly cybersmart doesnt have uncapped).

Anyone know anything about this? Anyone on one of these deals??
 
I was on their uncapped package a while ago. Its pretty much the same as the rest of the other uncapped offerings.

It was on a trial basis so perhaps they are ready to launch.

I preferred to have a high cap account rather as I don't want shaping and I do less 30 gig a month anyway.
 
TRL Technologies, a cybersmart reseller, are also providing uncapped accounts since June 2010 using Cybersmart bandwidth. Their prices are very reasonable, have a look at: http://www.trltech.co.za/whmcs/cart.php?gid=5
I've previously used Afrihost and Mweb uncapped accounts - they both sucked big time.
 
I loved the "Trial" uncapped that Cybersmart was running.

They have good quality bandwidth !

I'm on my last month with Cybersmart after cancelling my contract and moving my line back to Telkom.

I hope that it shows up soon on the website.
 
its rather interesting that it still dont show on their website... but they are launching a new wetsite on the 1st of October 2011 apparently which would feature their uncapped offering.
 
hahaha, yeah suprised me as well....
Wonder how they are going to structure the deal though.
Also interesting as Laurie is on of the people who said that Uncapped is unsustainable....
 
i've actually forgot about cybersmarts offerings, so i've asked them about it in an email. i've been one of the original trail members of their R519 offering and had been very happy with it. but moved on when they decided not to offer 4mb uncapped. my lines are still with them. when i've searched cybersmart uncapped on mybb i came across this. and noticed that they never updated their website either.

apparently cybersmart faces a complete make over on 1st of October.
 
I was on a 'hidden' uncapped 512kbps with Cybersmart before moving over to MWeb 4mbps, which cost me R30 less at the time.
 
still the isp with which i had the least problems.

laurie realized that its "do or die" in the world of uncapped.
 
Altech & BCS via TRL Tech gets my vote - no multiple users on same account without subscriber's knowledge.

Cybersmart does deliver the highest throughput, however network issues are not always timeously dealt with.

+1 Can attest to the above; happy camper (surfer), however not so sure why one would look for trouble with IS?
