D-Link DWR-956M LTE Bands

Firstly apologies if this has been asked before... I search but have not found any info on this....

What LTE Bands does Telkom LTE use? I found Band 3 the best on the D-Link DWR-956M LTE router.

Are there any crucial settings for this router that you could offer to increase the up/down speed?

Telkom LTE frequency/bands

So I have been seeing more and more towers getting refarmed 2100MHz frequency for LTE and have posted it before but just thought that a new thread with updated info would be nice for people searching. Telkom now has LTE on: Band 1 (2100MHz) Band 3 (1800MHz) Band 40 (2300MHz) Telkom runs LTE-A...

I use Telkom LTE on a Huawei B525 - 65a.

Can't get band 1, only 3 and 40, plus 3G is also available.
(think I'd need to mess with the firmware to get band 1 ?).

Sometimes after load-shedding, it will fall back to 3G for a while, during a 2 hour stint when battery power is getting back to full, at the tower.

I therefore leave the router's "network selection" on Auto, so the router can switch bands, as needed.
