D3 Demon Hunters Conclave

What was the % on the TaT?
As your equipment get better and better it takes longer and longer to farm for upgrades, which is sort of crappy as you're repeating the same actions over and over but not really getting any rewards out of it.

Hi animal

Pets are currently on 1st on 44% and new one 46% other stats are worse then current one.

Woo you got a 50, very nice.

My tips:
1. Get rid of resistance gems, go with dex
2. Cluster on helm/boots (can do MS as well, check if you get items that give +Fire/Cold, if cold then go CA, fire go MS)
3. Get sentry closer to 15x3
4. Better bracers, easy one is the Reaper's Wraps craftables
5. Better belt, Sherma is ok while you're shooting, but there are several better ones
6. Better sack
7. Get a hellfire neck
8. When getting new items, pretty much always roll max damage
9. Multishot->Arsenal so it also shoots rockets for your ballistics
10. Sentry->Spitfire
11. After that check how many times you have all the sentries out in a GR; if not a lot them take e.g. Steady Aim > Engineering
12. Make sure you're just on a BP (e.g. if you're in the middle to the next 1 then you have wasted +attack speed)
13. For followers, check if you need the Enchantress +3% attack speed to get to a BP, else go Templar for the extra heals
14. Overall you can drop a lot of toughness etc for extra damage. If you can hit 1m damage you're going to do a lot bigger GR. Doing 35/36, if I have 6m toughness white trash can almost 1 shot me. If I want to go higher I have to drop toughness a LOT for the extra bit of damage (and then not get hit)

Doing higher GR's u need DPS as animal says, and a crap load of luck getting the right levels and mobs.

Thanks guys, made some changes but still need to farm more emeralds and blue mats...

I can't access bnet from work. Can anyone suggest what my priorities should be in trying to improve my seasonal DH? Mortimus#1402

I know I need to replace the TnT with a dex pair, but after that?

All the effort in obtaining TNTs, about to go down the drain:

http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3DemonHunters/comments/2mlriy/patch_212_datamined_changes/

This brings me back to my point that no item should have a less than 5% chance of dropping, maybe even higher. Why? Because you need to get many of them before one is semi-decent. And then you need to do this for all your items. How many thousands of shards did everyone here spend for their TNTs, only to get a crappy pair and start again? My one friend has spent a lot more than 60,000 shards and still no TNT. So much for that pointless exercise...

Never mind TnT... the whole M6 thing looks like a joke now.

WTF did i just read. Oh well, i was growing tired of M6 anyway, back to my wizard i guess, unless the new DH set proves to be useful

It's a shame they are nerfing M6. Unless the dmg boost with the changes are very good it looks like DH will be the bottom of the pile again, back to spamming CA it seems...

Like Crusader says, we'll have to see how the buff part increases damage to compensate (especially along with the new items/bonus).
Also the main problem for us is standing around shooting at things on high GR = dead...which they're not addressing.

We did a GR37 last night. Team members Vrotapple,DDR and myself.

I think currently my roll is pure backup and support. My sentries are up every 4 sec.
I did ask Bizzard for a descend Bow or Xbow for Xmas.
My highest on my own in a GR is currently 33.
Done lots of 32 and then sometimes I even fail a 29. Depending on Elite placing during the game.

1. Take the templar for heals, either the invul token or the one that gives you access to all skills. I like to equip them with an Ess of Johan so they now and then pull packs together, apart from that their dps isn't important. Can use Unity if you want to, you'll lose some dps, but will gain 50% survivability
2. Change your smoke screen to +15% healing or go back to vault for speed
3. When you run in to a pack, check the mobs quickly, if its white stay close or go past them to chain packs by planting behind them; if its elites then stay out of LoS
4. If you're running Zei then make sure to plant your sentries far away from mobs and each other, otherwise might as well be running Bane2
5. Follow your skill instructions, e.g. if you're using Steady then don't let enemies get near you
6. You shouldn't be dying (often) on < GR34, no matter the elites

I'm reading a bit of feedback on the new M6 on the PTR, and it seems that it kicks even more ass than the previous M6. People that previously could barely do GR44, now smash a GR48 with half the time left. o_O

I might be tempted to try out the PTR...

Thank goodness TNT is becoming a thing of the past. What a pain it was to get a good one!
