D3 Demon Hunters Conclave

Hexing pants might be good with this playstyle change. More Hatred regen and dps resulting in more hatred spenders per minute. Also allows you to pick the element that you prefer.

Edit: Whoops, I was thinking of Depth Diggers. Hexing pants could work, although you'll be firing mostly yourself which forces you to stand still so usefulness might be doubtful.

Depth Digger bonus won't work with Kridershot or Spines of Seething Hatred. Should still be good if you want to use something else.

Ye but you don't stand still for long, unless you want to die on higher difficulties. The "Movement" portion of the buff, remains active for around 0.5 seconds after stopping. So more than enough time to stutter step shoot and still keep the buff up 100% of the time.

When you are used to it, stutter step shooting is the better way to play any ranged class in just about any game. If their abilities cater for it, which the DH does for sure.

I think the Cindercoat is slightly better for raw dps if you have equal fire gear compare to another element. But Hexing pants might be the BIS+5Mara for every other element besides fire.

True, it's been a while since stutter stepping was necessary so bit out of practice. Lots of experimenting will be needed once the patch hits to see what works best. Pride's Fall could also be an option.

@rakabo3

I like the M6 change. I wasnt a fan of placing sentries and running around like a little girl. Now you can shoot the monsters yourself and actually kill them, if u have some sentries up

If i need to shoot i need to stand still for a sec. If you overcrowded by minions you don't have time to shoot at them. Then it is time to run around like school girl place sentries and let them do the work. I also see that my shooting does not impact as much as i would like to. I'm a group player. As long as i got someone in front of me that keeps the minions busy I can place sentries and fire on my own free will.

Last night we did a GR36 with a group of French guys 3 DH. We did complete well in time.
My Season 1 solo GR34 and non-season so far GR30.

What happens to sentries when you hide and shoot at nothing. Will they fire?

Last thing gear wise i don't think DH is as strong as Monk, Baba or Crusader.

Ptr? They'll shoot their standard attack. They only fire hatred spenders when you do

Hello

By now every knows about season1 ending in Feb 2015.
Paragon Experience
The total amount of Paragon experience earned is the amount that rolls over, not your raw total amount of Paragon levels gained.
For example, if your Seasonal heroes reached Paragon 300, but your current non-Seasonal heroes are already Paragon 400, your new non-Seasonal Paragon level will still be less than Paragon 700 since higher Paragon levels take more experience to earn.

Mine currently Season 1 hero's paragon 603.
None season hero paragon 50x.

Meaning on the article i should get about 1000 paragon points combined?

Unclear about the wording.
not your raw total amount of Paragon levels gained.

Any suggestion what this means?

Hello

Tnx for the reply on the paragon lvl rakabos3.

What is the use of playing season char.

I have been playing both game wise, i think they play the same.
Bounties,GR and Rifts. This other rubbish will fall away anyway Achievements? I don't care about them anyway.

Ancient weapons will be still available even if you play non season char?
Any comment?

Season play is for seeing how far u can get and compare it to others. You also see leg items in seasons which arent available to non-season

Hello

It seems Blizzard wants to patch the game to 2.1.2 soon before Season 2 kicks in.
So if PTR is based on 2.1.2 they have ancient weapons available.

@rakabos3

see leg items

I have played both to a fair level. Items i have seen in season 1 i also have seen in non season char.

Which legs are you talking about?

Hello

So if PTR is based on 2.1.2 they have ancient weapons available.

I don't know what Blizzard intend to do, but based on a video I watched from Meathead Mikail on Youtube, he surmises the following, with which I strongly agree:
  • Blizzard said they will announce at least 30 days before Season 1 will end. The 3 Feb date may still shift (Blizzard said so).
  • The 2.1.2 patch will not roll out before Season 1 ends, otherwise it would royally screw up the leader boards. Expect massive community whinging if that happened, so highly unlikely.
  • The patch would probably roll out between end of S1 and start of S2, most likely the exact same day as S1 ends.
  • Based on the above, 3 Feb would be the earliest reasonable release of the patch. The patch would roll out on a maintenance day, so if not 3 Feb, then 10 Feb, 17 Feb, etc.

Update
From DiabloFans web site

After weighing both options carefully, we have decided to launch patch 2.1.2 three weeks prior to the Season rollover. This should provide players enough time to adjust to the patch changes before the Season ends as well as ensure that Season 1 is not prolonged further for those looking forward to Season 2.

Patch 2.1.2 Next Tuesday

13 Jan Patch date

Initial feedback on the M6 changes look incredibly OP

Fire will be best at the start (of 2.1.2) with Cold builds making their way to the top as gear improves with more and more ancient items.

Dust off those Cindercoats!

On the other hand, the number of weeks I spent farming Kadala for a trifecta 50% TnT will be remembered as they are now useless :(

Just played a bit, but my lag is terrible. Changes seem interesting. Will see how it goes later tonight if my lag improves.

Cold Spec here.
While I hunt for Krider to have a more permanent slow, I have changed from spitfire turrets to polar station. Now I know that the loss of 240% rockets is pretty big on dps. But so far I have found that the combination of Cull the weak and the Bane of the Trapped gem, with 5 turrets evenly spread to create a 60% slow field, is doing really well. I also suspect that this spec might help when getting that head from the Act3 stash that reduces resource cost as long as you have not been hit in the last 5 seconds. A permanent 60% slow is quite massive on survivability and keeping that buff up I think.

I obviously dont think it will be the best dps spec, not by a long shot. But for normal T6 rift grinding and bounties, it gives you a lot more freedom to take those shots and transition into the new run and gun playstyle.

Morning

Did a GR37 with another DH. We made it in time and still had 3 min to spare.
The next GR36 we lost out completly. Lots of Bosses during the game play.

Use my normal outfit with the GR37 included T&T gloves.
Change over to MARA gloves and see what happens and PF helm.
I cannot see a DH not being hit for 5 sec when using the PF helm.
