This is a call on other MyBB Wizards.

I'm looking for other Wizards who want to group and farm Rifts & loot pass so we have a better chance of getting the pieces we want.
Ideally we want 4 Wizards running together. The higher Torment we can do quickly the better, so no freshies in need of a boost :p

We'll get to an agreement of what you are looking for and work from there.

IE, from my Wiz you will see that I am decently geared (http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/LimpNoodle-2379/hero/679328) so the possibility of me passing on most of the drops is very good!

What I am looking for is:

1: Tal Rasha's Relentless Pursuit (Chest) (or Tal Rasha's Allegiance if it rolls good enough to get my 4set)
2: Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker (needs to be very good roll)

Others I would not mind, but you Wiz can obviously have the picks etc

- Vyr’s Grasping Gauntlets (Gloves)
- Vyr’s Fantastic Finery (Pants)

or Firebirds

So as you can see I am actually just looking for 2 items atm. Any other drops I am prepared to pass on and there are usually a bunch that I don't want.

But anyway, if you are interested in helping each other, make a post and lets have a chat. Above is just an example and we'll decide how we can help each other when we get together.

I don't currently want the 4 set, just 2 pieces for the intel, so Firebird's will also work. Currently not concerned with Archon as you simply just can't get as much dps & survivability from Archon as you can get from normal form with passives & spells that does not carry through to Archon.

It is currently not really viable in T6 without insane gear and I personally think it should be looked at. (IE allow Magic Weapon with Defelction etc to work in Archon)

Other specs just work better atm

Even if it isn't currently viable it would be nice to have the set and have a play around with to feel what it plays like and you never know when they might buff it.

Maybe pixel_ninja can comment here. What Torment can you do with your Archon build. You have good dmg from the AS boosts which helps Archon, but once T5 / 6 elites start hitting my guess is you going to melt with that toughness.

The idea is to always have Archon ready for elites and kill them very quickly while you can survive. Without a lot of CDR that is a bit of an issue. (and getting CDR drops dmg & thoughness) What amount is enough considering some rifts have 1 elite pack after the other.
What amount of dmg & thoughness is enough for T6 Archon build considering they hit like a truck?

I usually get up to 8 mill sheet DPS in archon form without any issues. I can solo t6, I wont lie, I do die, but then go look at all your T6 Wiz streamers, they die too. If you are worried about repair costs you can either equip Spaulders of Zakara, or farm on a lower level. Additionally, you would usually be playing with tanks who, if they are any good, will maintain aggro on the majority of the mobs, while you dps. With CDR you can pretty much have archon up for every elite pack you come across.

PS: sheet toughness is just as missleading as sheet dps. Paragon levels also go a long way in plugging the holes in your armour. You forget that pre loot 2.0 when doing inferno, the best players were not gearing towards a defensive, survival oriented gearset where you slug it out with one elite mob for 2 minutes. They were gearing for max DPS as you do not take damage if the creep is dead, it's pretty much the same today in that regard. So what if I die every now and then, the respawn timer is like 5 seconds, your farmspeed will be a hell of a lot faster when compared to a average dps average toughness build. This is softcore, not hardcore.

Well that's good to hear. I've read that you really want 45%+ CDR for the Archon build, which will drop overall dps / toughness. Your downtime currently is what? About 50 seconds thx to Paragon points?

For that dps to climb like that you need to kill a bunch of mobs. What happens when u jump into a T6 Rift and face a bunch of Reaper elites off the bat. They hit like a truck and are annoying.

I'm sure a fixed Vyr’s set will help tons with the Build.

From what I've read Chainpocalypse & Arcane torrent builds with toughness ppl see as the most viable currently.

I'd like to see it in action as I've considered it but just never thought it's all that viable without insane gear. Mind showing me at some point & having a chat?

Call it 45% with diminishing returns, on a vyr set with 100 cd on archon (when its fixed) = 55sec cooldown, archon is active for 20 of those seconds so, yeah 35 sec cooldown while you run to your next elite pack, typically this is where i blow my arcane torrent.

Meh, need to decide on what I want to do, have 4 pieces of firebird, 2 pieces of vyrs and 3 tal rasha but my 1 tal rasha is level 60 so doesn't count towards set bonus

I know, just can't decide what to do! I also have the ring that reduces the set requirements so once I get a Tal Rasha chest piece I'll change built completely.

Impressive. At 1st I was wondering how is he not bitch slapped 3 shots dead and then I noticed his ring & follower.

I'd still like to see it in action personally. Solo play without the use of the Unity ring on the person & follower. And it should be in a rift with the annoying mobs that gives us as Wizards problems.

That would allow a good build comparison and vs other classes for me.
 
I am certainly interested. I have one piece Vyr (chest) and one Tal Rasha (helm) so far. This is where I stand at the moment.

1st Post updated. If you guys are online just msg me and we do some runs. Really keen to start doing some Wizard runs.

Please post a no1 & 2 items you are looking for & also if you do not agree to pass something.

This means you PASS the items listed & agreed on if they drop, even if they are an upgrade for you.

(Had the situation where I ran with a member who I guess does not frequent the forums. Chest dropped. Obvious upgrade for him so no pass. I do fully understand, but still sad, specially since I've been passing things left, right and center to ppl I play with.)

Had a chat with some ppl. Any idea's how to make this as fair as possible is welcome.

We obviously have some nice geared ppl who are looking for 1 or 2 pieces but we also have ppl who need quite a few upgrades. Those guys will most likely pass on a lot of drops for others, while some ppl who need quite a bit of gear will maybe pass on 1 or so really good items but get a bunch of nice upgrades in the process.

Any ideas, post away :D
