DA For The Win: On Twitter

At all the voting stations in my area, there are these DA idiots with flyers and stuff.

Vote, GO HOME and that's it.

These people have nothing better to do!

The DA has really disappointed me these last few days, almost enough to vote ANC, but then again the way the ANC "operates" with these pathetic police escorts disrupting traffic I'd rather not...... hmmm luckily I'm not registered :)

If you're a South African citizen 18 years old or older and have not registered to vote, you don't get to talk about the political scene in South Africa. Talk is easy...

I am just unhappy that I am in the USA and cannot vote DA. When I left I enquired about the "special vote", but all that was offered was to vote 2 (two) days earlier !!!!! That doesn't help me - I left SA 2 WEEKS before voting day. They need to be more flexible - actually no, I understand....the ANC want to make it as difficult as possible for people that travel a lot to NOT be able to vote. This is because businessmen/international travelers are more than likely forward thinkers, and would vote for the DA.

ANC, DA, COPE etc..they all suck and just shows us how starved South Africa's political landscape is for a party that is competent; one that has the intellectual prowess available to put South Africa back on track. But alas all we have are these douche-bags who fight with each other every election and do nothing other than that the whole year through. But hey thats politics for you!

Agree politics suck, but back to the article... Jacob Zuma does not have a twitter account but the SAPresident does. I'm sure Zuma cannot use that account to rally for the ANC?

Voting procedures are very unclear in our country, i know a lot of people who wanted to vote but had been turned down by the fact they had not been registered, the iec should allow people to vote without registering, what the point of registering?,

So you can't send busloads of people from areas where you know your party will win to other areas to vote for your party there instead.

hmmm...no articles about the ANC. wonder if RPM doesn't know how to be impartial. have forwarded this article to ANCYL cause i don't see anything about saying positive things on the ANC side. hopefully this site get's banned due to it's supposedly "freedom" of speech but let's support DA

3) The article refers to another published article, it did not write it.

4) The Internet is not a democracy. You don't have any rights on here.

Aaah, one more vote for the ANC then.
Simple arithmetic. A spoiled vote is a vote for the majority winner.

Absolutely correct ! If you choose not to register or not to vote for the party of your choice or have a spoiled vote, then what you are effectively doing is to deprive your party of your vote and even if your party does not win the majority then your party can increase their presence in the municipality/district council with proportional representation. i.e. The more votes your party get, increases the amount of proportional representatives that can get seats in the council even although their names were not on the ballot paper.
So........by saying that you are in the minority in any case and that your vote cannot make any difference is cr*p. REGISTER and VOTE, that is the only way !
