DA locks down Nelson Mandela Bay with multi-party coalition

Where can we get more news on Mogale City? Apparently there's some drama happening there as well...

Yes you should. Must I quote the 10 posts that I posted where I mentioned time. Even in the quote you posted you I clearly said "You are saying the council requires attendance on time." the ANC has a policy of not firing sleeping or absent councilors or parliament members. The whole discussion is around time. You are jumping on a post in which I mentioned the word "disruption" because you lost the argument of there not being consequence for not arriving on time

Ok, since you seem to fail to grasp basic concepts.

A Council meeting CAN start at a specific time, and this time was communicated to all members timeously.
The Council can bar people from entering once the council meeting has started, unless special arrangements are made. Those rules are not new.

The ANC has nothing to do with this, its purely relating to the council.

Yeah but there's an outcry from the opposition over an ANC whip being elected. They're blaming the IEC for interference and calling for a re-vote...

Indeed - looks like there is some skulduggery going on

#MogaleCity DA asks for another vote - EFF supports this. MV

#MogaleCity IEC has to address the matter - says no objection was raised by observers. Opposition not happy. MV

#MogaleCity Calls of "IEC you are corrupt" coming from opposition supporters here. MV

#MogaleCity FF+ now also asks for revote, says for the sake of everyone who has to work together they should vote again. MV

#MogaleCity ANC suggests party whips to caucus to discuss this matter - we break for 15 mins. MV

Of course the ANC has to do with it. They didn't arrive on time and were let in. Then left before it ended.

You are so sure of these being on time rules yet the very event this thread about show those rules you are so sure about do not apply.

Please stop polluting this thread with your bullschit. @MickeyD can we have a clean-up please?

I hope the DA can create a lasting impression in PE

Yup. The proof is in the pudding. If they can deliver, they will get more vote come 2019. If not, well, I guess people will vote ANC again?

Now that Danny boy knows he won't be mayor, will he have free time to go to Zurich? :p

I cant forsee that he will get a job that requires him to travel outside the borders of SA.

Maybe. If PE gets worse now (Highly unlikely) - then I see them voting ANC next time. Athol Trollip with the blueprints of running Cape Town successfully, I think Nelson Mandela Bay is going to get a major shake up and the rubbish thrown out. Failure, is unlikely given the recipe. ;)
