Data Bundle / Airtime Transfer

@VodacomData, i have a question.

I have 2 contracts on my name. I pay for both on a monthly basis. I use one and my Wife uses the other

*******438 on a uFlexi 350 and *******876 on a TopUpS 315 (Which i understand is discontinued)

Now, in the *******438 number that I use, I barely use all of the airtime. I have a surplus of R1000 airtime on my number. My wife, in the *******876 number, phones a lot. She uses most of her airtime in any given month.

So my question is, even though i am paying for both numbers, why can i not transfer the airtime to her account and/or buy her data bundles? This does not make sense.

All I would like to do is keep her airtime and data ready for usage with the surplus airtime i have on my account.

Now, I know this is possible. I have bought a data bundle for another number in the past, without having to buy an airtime voucher beforehand. I phoned 111, and some dude activated it for me, i guess. I don't know what changed, but that was the only time it ever worked.

And then, last question, will this R1000 airtime expire if i do not use it? Will it lapse, or will it just keep building up into eternity? Because if it does (expire), that would be like a bank voiding my money in my account because I am not using it.

I think you can only accumulate a max of 6 months airtime. You forfeit any additional airtime. Vodacom should bring back airtime transfer for top up contact customers

This is what I am afraid of. They cannot just expire my airtime. I paid for it, so I should be able to leave it there until I am ready to use it, otherwise it's exactly the same as theft.

Found this over here: http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/airtime-transfer-terms-and-conditions

Contract

1. A contract customer must obtain consent from their Service Provider (SP) to be provisioned for the Airtime Transfer service, which consent may be withheld.
2. The monthly Airtime Transfer limit will be determined by the SP on a per contract basis and per customer profile. This limit can be between R2 and R2000 and will be based on a calendar month.
3. If a contract customer requests a transfer limit of R400 during the month, his allowance for the month will not be based on pro-rata but he will be allowed to transfer the full R400 on the first day of the month
4. If the contract subscriber’s phone is locked he will not be able to transfer airtime.

I have spoken to numerous consultants at the Call Center. I have explained this numerous times. Please @VodacomData, come to the party.

Please respond.

I have had money expire now. I am sure this is against CPA rules. WTF is going on?
