Data bundles not available 2011/02/07 [SOLVED]

They just tweeted now and here is their statement : "After a small problem with WOOOOOSH early this morning, a handful of customers may have had a problem connecting. We fixed the problem and have restored your data balance to a full 5 Gig. Sorry about the inconvenience and from next month, your bundle will be back to normal."
 
If I knew this would happen, then I would've downloaded things like crazy :D

Same here...My net was working fine until about 10pm last night then i couldnt connect until now. Very weird, and also had the reset.

They have changed their statement :)
We are experiencing some issues with prepaid data recharges & balances. We are working at resolving the problem. Thank you for your patience

BUT, why were your call centre staff not trained on the new system? After holding for 15 minutes, I was told to "try again tomorrow" (WTF???!!!) because they didn't know how to transfer a call...

Thanks for the full gigs, so are we getting double the gigs or just restored gigs?
 
Cell C dont allow that, or maybe they only do for people they like!
Just double up my 5GB package like the 2GB packages got 3GB extra ;)

I still have 5GB of data, not sure how that specific user manage to get 10gig of data, unless he managed to load 2 data sim onto 1 sim card..

Nope, did not load a second bundle on the same SIM, my balance last night was 4.3 Gb so not sure if it plays any part in the balance now showing 10 Gb. Will monitor it before I download like mad ;-)

Dude they probably were lazy and had to reset everyone to 5gig, i think it is unfair and people with 5 gig package should be up to 10gig, unless this is only applicable to people that didn't go past 1gig of data but I did check all my cards and they were all reset to 5gig none to 10gig

mine still not fixed. my mother is on the 2GB package and her balance is 5120MB. she didn even know about the outage. :(

Lucky mother :) tell her to loan me the card please that way I can use 3gig :P

So CELL C probably lost over 100 PB of data or more :P
