Greetings,

I received and email about databases for sale, South African based. Tracing this back I noticed that this company / individual is already listed in the ISPA Hall of shame. http://ispa.org.za/spam/hall-of-shame/

However, instead of just ranting and raving I have made contact (electronically) trying to get a feel for what they have to offer, how it works and what I am entitled to do with this list(s).

I would like to take some form of legal action against this entity. It's these types of people that sell your details and you never get off those lists.

Any thoughts / actions I can use to legally stop this entity from continuing with this sick money making scheme ?

Also, please post more info as you get it, would love to know how these scumbags work.
 
AFAIK it is illegal for them to distribute your (anyones) information if you (particular person) didn't not agree to it. I say nail their asses to the wall
 
Well, why not give him some of his own medicine? If all of the MyBB members were to send him 5 or 10 mails (from some webmail or free mailbox) every day he will have a lot of emails to sift through!
