The edible kind, that is.

I recently went to Upington and they have the longest date palm avenue in the Southern Hemisphere. (That's pretty much all they have, by the way :D )

I bought a packet of pitless (depitted? deseeded?) dates and they really are lovely, yummy and sweet.

Do you eat dates? Any ideas for incorpating them into cooking?

Thanks.

Have em everyday for the past week, and again today at 18:02!:D
I prefer the ones with chocolate inside...

Can I eat them to promote better bowl movement?

My mum makes these things with dates and marie biscuits. Absolutely delicious, mmmm

Yip, I know the dates from that area.....huge and juicy!

Rather enjoy them in their natural state.
