De Klerk not a hero - Malema

black nationalists *pukes*

The amount of pressure de klerk was under did make his decision easy, what i would like to know if there was no pressure to release mandela would he have done so?

Mugabe is also under a huge load of pressure... Does he also deserve a peace prize?

... and WTF has this kleinpoepaal Malema ever done for anyone?

I mean other than k@k all over his lapping audience with his prolific verbal diarrhea?

1 of 2 things happened with De Klerk... either he went into office with a strategy for reform and Mandela's release, or he quickly became aware of the need for it. Either way he is to be applauded for swimming upstream and making a difference.

Malema was still biting his mother's tit and getting a backhand for not knowing how to suck properly when De Klerk was busy making this country a better place.

effing twot.

It was a far easier decision for Madiba. De Klerk could have held onto the luxuries of power while the country slid into civil war while Madiba had the choice of power or staying in prison. Tough one

**** De Klerk **** Malema **** Zuma **** Manuel **** em all
Bunch of political ho's

Madiba had the balls to tell everyone in the country to STFU and relax and thats sweet :D

He's got more Nobel Peace Prizes on his shelf than you, you fool! And here is the problem, people like Julius who were in nappies when all this "went down" will never appreciate what de Klerk did. The time of "Struggle Heroes" is over and the rot is setting in.

On a side note: I wonder how Floyd's definition of "sleeping around" has changed since this Zuma affair (pun intended)? Is "sleeping around" still "sleeping around"?

I tried posting the exact same thing on News24 but it seems as though my comment wasn't PC enough for them (or something?).

Eish man, you got it wrong. Sleeping around doens't mean sleeping around. What it really means is he is sleeping around, not sleeping around. - you just so confused, ow, I cant believe.

One day the will be teaching the kids at school that mandela overthrew the old regime and fought his way out of prison and freed the people.

Funny how the new regime like to downplay the actual facts as it is.

The decision to release the "political prisoners" may have been one made under pressure, but it was one made non-the-less by the old apartheid era, they chose to let him free.

So lets not forget how awesome a man De Klerk was, he go a lot of backlash from many of his peers, but he made the right decision and we are ALL truly free, or are we?

I can see the Hollywood script already:

MANDELA: You can take our rights but you'll never take our FREEDOM! [Busts out of jail]
