Dead battery

So my battery has died. It said "service battery" and now it just gets to about 80% then dies. I assume there's no way to "rescue" it? Where is the best (cheapest) place to get a replacement in CT?

If it's an iPhone 3G, yes, it's quite serviceable. The original iPhone not so much. Check out ifixit.com for tutorials.

What kind of laptop is it? I had the same problem with my older MBP and ended up getting the battery replaced for free because it started bulging (long after the warranty had expired) but I wouldn't count on that. Digicape should be able to sort you out.
