Walk away, how is 8k on the road fees? Plus dent repair? Do you not have insurance?

Yeah this insane ,yeah do have insurance. Dealer First wanted me to pay 650k demo model. Which was 629k on the website lol

With my R5k deductible I'd probably pay the dent repair. The road fees are ludicrous and I'm surprised the maintenance plan isn't included in the sticker price.

EDIT: I see the R15k is for an "upgrade", whatever the heck that is.

Chery group (which incl all their many many many many sub-brands) are printing money & wont mind if you "walk away".
Chery cape gate did not want to give me price on demo they have? Says will be close new price lol

Luckily there one chery century city, which I might need to visit next.

15k for upgrade on the plan, that cover wipers and the clutch lol

Before you walk away, see what they do if you tell them to remove most of that nonsense else you are walking away...
They'll generally say okay cool, goodbye

Yep next sucker is ready to sign!
A second hand dealer wanted to charge R4k for on road fees for a R60k car, I was like nope sorry not paying 8% for made up fees. They did knock that off, but decided against the car.
Bigger dealers have never knocked it down.

Check the definition of ‘dent’ very carefully …

Had it in one of my cars many years ago - it’s one of those 3rd party insurance policies - waste of money - the one time I tried to claim they successfully repudiated the claim based on the definition of dent in the policy wording.
Same as aftermarket warranties, they'll find ways to repudiate claims.

Would include brakes and all that as well wouldn’t it. Upgrade from service plan to maintenance plan, just doesn’t include tires but does everything else.

Technically there’s a clutch between the petrol engine and the electric one isn’t there?

They are milking the system. The F&I gets massive kickbacks.

When buying cash, you can see their faces drop. And yet they still insist, you see the F&I. For what?
They usually try and sell you some add-on BS. Something that also helps to bring down the on-the-road fees, is to buy the car in another province. Or just flatout tell them to GTFO.

They will not send an oke all the way to your local licensing office to register the vehicle. You tune them you will do the registration, they reimburse you after. Its all just a standard practice to add another R5-8k on the price.

Absolute fscking BS if you ask me.
