Dealing with a bully at work

I don't like HR either :p

But seriously, report him.

+1 on both points.

He called you a Ko*llie? TF dude? Atchar? come on, that's grounds for racism, slightly i know but if he is really ticking you off then you need to report him.

realistically i think neither of you will lose your job and this will carry on for months.
i also think if you leave it it won't get better.

i also think it's something personal between you and him, so you should speak to him about it and tell him that you guys are going to be together in this work place for a long time, and it would be better for both of you if you understood each other better.

tell him you know you make mistakes, tell him you know you can be difficult, but you're doing the best you can to be the most pleasant and hard working person you can be. tell him you're doing this because you DON'T like running to the boss, that you don't like holding a grudge and that you don't like having people angry/disappointed with you.

you can't ignore it, unless you win the others over to your side and alienate him :p

If all else fails invite him to a 4-some?

Softies always struggle through issues like this, you'll have to learn to stand up for yourself sooner or later. Just start pushing back and you'll probably surprise yourself with what you can do. No biggy, that's just how things work.

Cant understand how you can allow a person to treat you that way googoodoll.

It's because she is a nice person - bullies and jerks work that out very quickly and then makes the person's life miserable

My wife is literally experiencing the same thing except with a women.
But it's as you say, nice people often get stepped on.
