You can't tell from those readings anymore. Geoff and I determined they're wildly different under all sorts of conditions. But likely okay at those numbers you have, just test a Hi HOR ch. as well such as ch. 132.Just as a side note, this has always been my numbers.. strength was actually a bit lower ... 70 or so. Never had any issues though. I would say there's about 30m of cable between my dish and the decoders. Not sure if that strength can (or need to) be improved

Well ... as you know... our competent MC script readers want all above 90%You can't tell from those readings anymore. Geoff and I determined they're wildly different under all sorts of conditions. But likely okay at those numbers you have, just test a Hi HOR ch. as well such as ch. 132.
Best part of that is on some different tuners / indexes it gives 10% or more difference on Strength, lol.Well ... as you know... our competent MC script readers want all above 90%![]()
GreatCh 132 returns the same numbers
I often swop my two decoders between launch and bedroom and whereas the 2A show 100%/100% at both locations the 3A always show substantially lower figures.Best part of that is on some different tuners / indexes it gives 10% or more difference on Strength, lol.
Great
My one decoder is around 10m away and the other is 15m. 90cm dish. No trees or any obstacle that can interfere with the LOS to the satellite. So I assume you guys have your dishes fairly close to the decoders ? not my distance ?
What did Geoff tell you when he helped you with that setup? So I assume you guys have your dishes fairly close to the decoders ? not my distance ?
Confirmation - issue on yours as wellThat has been a problem on both
Crazy.Personally, I would say both. They have increased the number catch up assets. It used to be around 600 now it is in excess of 800 with the addition of the soccer world cup. This could be the partition size or bad programming.
Yes, been a problem for the last month or so. Only way to get it back is to manually find a show I am watching and play it for a while. The 'Programs Your're Watching' tab then reappears for a while but vanishes the next time I turn on DSTV. Very annoying and I would love to know how to fix it permanently.Anyone's "Programs you're watching" tab vanished overnight ? This is on Ultra. Reboot or watching an episode doesn't help.
/Update - Somehow it came back. Will have another look tomorrow after reboot
That would require fixing MultiChoice. Not gonna happen... :- (Very annoying and I would love to know how to fix it permanently.
I had to move the dish long ago from the middle to the other side of the house for LOS. Was done by Geoff's SIL. One big-ass Jacaranda and a palm tree caused the moveWhat did Geoff tell you when he helped you with that setup?
A bit far by industry concepts, but all along you seem to have managed. And not going to be behind your listing fault issue - titles already available wouldn't vanish 'cos new ones are missing.
Software is really rubbish. Don't worry so much, if the cables are over 5 years or looking suspect replace them.
We were too quick pointing out issues and problems to them leaving no time for them to sit back and doing nothing.I miss that forum.....

Natasha was headhunted by MTN. What a loss for MC.I miss the participants, MC staff like Natasha and Solomon and the ability to chat about issues.. and even getting it resolved sometimes![]()
