Today I got 4mb adsl. So long and thanks for all the fish!

Is there any reason to go for iBurst or MyWireless at the moment? Comparing their low bandwidth accounts to MTN I can't see any reason to pick iBurst or MyWireless.

For me it was a matter of no choice... for so many years I had to suffer with Iburst.

Check the coverage, reason a) I wouldn't go with MTN is because of the lack of coverage HSDPA coverage in my area and I don't want to be locked into something for 24 months.

grats there w1z4rd... I'm also biding my time and seeing what neotel has to offer then. also if iburst becomes vodacom I'll most definately move over to neotel

I'm happy with iBurst but wouldn't say no to a better opportunity (if my finances are willing, of course)

The ONLY reason I'm with iBurst is because Telkom cannot/won't give me an install date for ADSL, and I'm limited to EDGE via MTN or Vodacom or CellC or Virgin.

I also refuse to pay dial-up charges for ISDN.

There is no need to take out a contract other than a cheap one to get the modem. The data bundles are month to month, and they're cheaper than iBurst. With iBurst you also have to take out a contract or pay for the modem.

MTN now has my area covered, but iBurst show my road as having fair coverage.

How much is the modem out of contract though?

Ah, but all you can eat is super duper mc-expensive.

Don't think I could manage that for the current 400 something I'm paying a month could I? Besides, mix in the fact that the hub makes it so I get 30 gigs+ a month of downloading (after cap) and I'm set with iBurst till there isn't anyone in the hub anymore.

well the most attractive thing about iburst is the 64k once capped... plus no telephone bill and dsl bill, neotel will have to come with a extremely good package before I would jump ship
