Deal with the person, debate with them, but if you don't like what they are saying hiding your head in the sand isn't going to make them disappear.

Most of the time any criticism about the ANC/BEE/AA is seen as racism on this part of the forum. There are maybe 1 or 2 people that are genuinely racist, but some forum members don't even think before they pull the race card.

What would have happened if this article was titled "Dear black trash" ?

LOL! You know darn well no one here will ever call you racist for genuine honest criticism of AA/BEE. It is when you resort to racism in that criticism that you get called out! And comparing those policies to apartheid will get you accused of being nostalgic for those old days.

And the only people who pull the race card here are the conservative right wingers.
 
I think its a terrible article. I base that simply on the amount of hate it stirs up in some people. Its almost saying "there are things you dont like about BEE etc, deal with them"
It doesnt upset me at all and I find it quite funny which is what it was probably intended to be, but I can see it really getting people annoyed.

You left out ANC :p

I have said countless times though that I don't really have a problem with AA/BEE as it doesn't affect me and doubt it will. My only concern wrt AA is when black kids with private school (Crawford etc) education get preferential treatment when applying for a job.

Where is the proof that MOST of the criticism of that party or policies are taken as racism on this forum?
