What's wrong with his shirt ? That is 100% Bafana Bafana
You might want to run that past adida(s) then
It's great to hear your point of view Ronjay don't worry, noone is going to tie your hands and drag you to the soccer stadium, it's just a forum where we all express our views
Obviously you can't read either. Why would I not want to go to a soccer stadium, if i had a ticket to the opening game, I'd be there yesterday already. Can't wait to see Bafana rip Mexico apart.
I don't like soccer. Never have, never will. Sorry.![]()
Abso-bloody-lutely! And ‘winning the bid’ still rankles after all these years. I nearly put my boot through Mbeki’s smug face on my TV screen. SABC TV gave their regular news bulletin but promised a ‘significant’ announcement later. What was it? This had never happened in my experience before. Were we at war? No, that would have been on the news. Maybe it was a surprise attack? No, that would also have been on the news because they knew by then. I hovered around apprehensively for the announcement. This must be serious. Imagine my anger and rage when some beaming moron breathlessly tells me that SA has won the bid for the SA Soccer World Cup. Wow. Hip hip hooray. Woop-de-doo.
I am more interested in the contents of my cats litter box than soccer. I concede that there are people who don’t share my total apathy, but surely a slot on the news would have been sufficient? Even a top slot – leading the news. There is also a separate sports segment on the news program. Perhaps there as well? When I think of a portion of my life being wasted like that when I could have, more productively, stared into space with a big zero in my head, I feel outraged and totally pissed-off. I used to be indifferent to soccer, now I am totally alienated.
So negative.
You do not have to like soccer. Hey, neither do I (and I hate rugby even more - cricket is my game of choice).
You must be braindead if you do not understand that soccer is the biggest game on the planet and that this is a huge event - for the world and for us in SA.
How does that relate to the FIFA world cup?So what! Must I like it because ‘soccer is the biggest game on the planet and this is a huge event - for the world and for us in SA’. So I must ‘show my support for criminals running the country, crime, corruption, bad service delivery, bla, bla?’ Like phuck!

No, you do not have to.
Grey people like yourself do not form part of the core.
OMG - you sound just like my headmaster back in '89!
You need to learn about the Green Skin Initiative![]()
So, if you don't care for sports you're a racist now?
Anyway, conformists like you are actually the "grey" people! It is the non-conformists that make this world an interesting place.
the vibe in good old jozie was incredible today.
those who did not feel the energy, are unconscious or dead.
but there is no way i will wear that yellow t-shirt!
green or blue or purple: anytime.
I was initially addressing Palimino. He was bitching about crime and bad governance whereas I pointed out the soccer and its unifying effect.
