Greetings

Does anyone have any advice for me on and good debt collection agencies in Joburg? I'm not looking for the "break your legs" type organisation, but any advice is welcome as I don't know where to start.

I am tired of guys 'promising and pretending' to pay, and not ever getting paid - especially if its under R1000, because they know we wont fork out the cash to take them to court. I am getting to the point where I will pay for it eventually, just to make a point... uuurg!

We pride ourselves on paying people on-time, all the time - so I don't get it...

What are your volumes and typical balances outstanding?

Thanks @Purply will check it out!

We are a mobile software development and marketing company based in Midrand. Outstanding amounts can be R900 for a simple logo design, or R9 000 for a balance on a website hosted on servers. Some clients are based in other countries, which I assume will make it a bit trickier.

There are processes we can implement like "do not release final artwork or open files before payment is made", but this does not always work well in the real world. I spoke to a friend last night, and he mentioned that FNB will pay your debtors balances for you, or something to that effect - there is some brief info here - but I will go in and chat to them on Monday.

The large amounts aren't usually the issue, is all the small amounts, R450 and R900 etc...
