Decent gaming mouse

Either you drive a lot, or you eat fsckall? And with beer being number 2, the thought of you driving a lot scares me more than it should.

2. Beer R1600
3. Petrol R1400 (motorbike)
4. Food. R1200

Pity that Razer mice are so prone to failure, because I think they're the best looking mice. Mine failed recently (scroll wheel and a week later LMB) so I got a cheap G103 to use while I searched for a new mouse, and I'm surprised how much I like it compared to my R2k Razer mouse.

Failure, you mean the switches?

2019 and later models have all been remedied, but I don't believe it covers their entire range. Logitech only recently remedied their ever-plaguing double-click issue or, so they said for the second time.

Razor and Logitech is pretty much the cream of the premium mice covering the largest scope, Corsair, however, has very good MMO-style mice. Steelseries has lost its way, but the Aerox 3 is a very good mouse. Then you have outliers like HyperX, CoolerMaster and Glorius, and overseas you have access to Xtrfy, Vaxee amongst others. Cougar has two worthy options available in South Africa which are affordable.

For traditionalists, Zowie is still a very strong brand in this playing-field, but I feel their support outside of Europe is faltering, and many in Europe is now opting for Xtrfy and Endgame as alternatives. As far as I know, Zowie is revamping their entire range at the moment. Roccat is also coming back big time, but you either love or hate the brand, but their mice are pretty innovative.

Ducky is now also into gaming mice.

Asus is schit.

Wireless technology as from 2016 is already on-par with wired, if you buy premium wireless mice that is. If you don't like your cable coming in the way get a mouse bungee.

No mouse is perfect for everyone. I regularly get in fights with 'gamers' about headphones/headsets and mice.

Yes. Good to know, thanks! I want to go wireless this time around if the battery life is decent.

Try one of these :)

Steelseries all the way!
I was a massive Razer fan with the Deathadder series, but their newer ones sucked and the Mamba wireless version was a full on dud.
I changed to Steelseries after that and they are great, always accurate and nice and comfy to use.

Shoo I've been using a Redragon Phoenix for 3 years now, 8 hours a day now for the last 11 months.

I am using a Corsair m65 pro rgb for a little under a year.
It hasn't given me any problems yet.
You do need big hands though.

Bachelor as well, I need to learn from you on how to eat better/less.

I am close to 4x your number.
Remember he pays more for beer, beer is a lot of empty calories but it does fill you up. Also we're in a family of 3 and we're only about R5k

Ha, I also had one of those back in the day.

The best mouse I ever used was the Microsoft Habu (in collaboration with Razer). I loved that mouse. Eventually it died on me though after many years.

After that I went through quite a few mice and I currently have the Razer Deathadder Elite that I love. It has the same form factor as the Habu so I'm very happy with it.
