Def cap?

I forgot to mention the new Sigil. It's a mere 15 Badges and it's brilliant.
It has a 100% Proc Rate so it is possible to gear for the additional 53 Defense Proc but I prefer just allowing it to increase my Mit slightly when I land IT.

I got that but dont think its 100% proc rate
But does that mean i can cut down on 53 def on my DK?Since i pull with icy touch.
 
people often misunderstand defense cap you need 5.6 % crit immunity to a boss 3 levels higher then you this can be stacked up by resilience OR defense,
for druids you get 6% from talents meaning you don't need any defense gear what so ever,
type this in game and you get a answer on how much your lacking or over the cap a negative total = your over the cap =)

Yeah it is 100% Proc Rate. Theoretically you could skip that 53 Defense and rely on the Proc but it's not a good idea.

yeah its 100% proc rate i got it this weekend and the weapon enchant awesome stuff i am crit imune.But soon as i got my tier 7 chest i had to put back my old blue cloak cause My epic tanking cloak had no def.
I am gone try get that trinket on normal HOL.And ill farm for shoulder enchant till exalted.
 
Best tanking cloak in the game for a DK is the 25 Badge of Valor cloak.
I'm assuming you were using the Durable Nerubhide cloak?
 
Unfortunately I can't take a look at work.
I tanked in the Crusader Shoulders for quite some time before I got my Valor Shoulders.

There are a lot of excellent Tanking blues around for getting into 10man Raiding content.
