Hi All
So i am on an MWEB Premium Uncapped 4MB line and they would usually throttle you from the 400-440 gb range (Softcap as they term it)
I had noticed i breached this a tad once or twice and it didnt throttle me...
I was looking to cancel as at that price point i can get a 8mb capped solution that meets my needs or an uncapped solution at the same price but in the process of cancelling i learnt a few things
1) apparently the Cap limit has been increased to 600GB for the Premium Line before you get soft capped/ Throttled
so those of you on this package can be happy to know you can push the boundary a little more
2) MWEB Apparently intends to introduce new packages in october
as they were trying to convince me to stay but i insisted non of the packages they offer come close to competitors...
Damn these days 80 gig games, streaming legal content and all that adds up... seriously...
I would be happy with a 100 gig cap if they made Netflix etc type streaming / steam downloads/ ps or xbox downloads Apple/ windows updates free or not count to it... as thats the majority of my bandwidth...
i dont consider myself a high bandwidth user as most of my bandwidth is just from using todays tech... when i got my XBOX i was throttled for the first 3 months just trying to download all my games i purchased....
I mostly use 300-400 gb but you never know when there is that chaotic month... ah well
just thought you would wanna know about the two points listed above
