Defy Fridge Freezer combo DFF425 555lt- (Utter junk!)

I Bought the DFF 463 model to replace my old Kelvinator, also very dissapointed, freezer works like a charm but the fridge doesn't cool to below 7 ish degrees tested with a temperature gauge from appliance spares.Bought it new and technician replaced pc bord was running fine for 6 months now its not cooling again sitting around 8 degrees and food is not very cool on touch

Also had one. Absolute crap. Sold mine for R500 and replaced it with a Bosch.

Check the back of the fridge for ice formation on the pipes and fins s well as blocked meltwater drain pipes. If the fridge has an automatic defrost feature and the water cant drain away, it freezes and the complete cycle breaks down. Agree though that DEfy is now one of the worst labels around.

Another problem might be that not all the packing material was removed when unpacked, restricting airflow around the fins on the back.
