Degrading Telkom LTE Uncapped speeds

So long story short myself and three friends which all have LTE and were playing a CSGO comp last night at about 23:20 we all simultaneously experience a disconnect from our LTE towers (this is all over Pretoria) for about 20 seconds and I was about to land the head shot on the CT defending the bomb on A from long :P The ping for the rest of the game was 15/20ms for all of us. After the game (which we lost narrowly due to the disconnect) I decided to check the speed and got this:IMG-20160912-WA0007.jpg

The speeds have been absolutely insane again :P

All the "abusers" have been reined in :p.

I must say with speeds like this and using uncapped without even thinking about cap I could never go back to 60GB 4 meg line. We just stream and online game as we please now, easily use 100+ gigs a month. I do miss Netflix us though :(
 
So a funny thing happened:

I usually get 100-ms ping in CS:GO on the 2300MHz band, which is alright but could be better.

I switched to the 1800MHz band, and pings to Google are 30% better but CS:GO is rubberbanding like crazy, yet I have ~60ms ping! The voice is dropping in and out and I can't hit the broad side of a barn. My housemate who is on the same network has no issues. I tried with the LAN cable (I am currently on N300 wireless) and it remains. Yet, pings to Google and browsing is perfectly fine. If I switch back to the 2300MHz band, it all settles back down to normal.

Very strange

I stay in the Centurion Rooihuiskraal area, have been battling with LTE speed for 6 months and Telkom simply does not give a sh#$. My download speed are between 1 and 2 Mb, upload between 0.2 and 1.5Mb. Have called endless times, send cmplaints on twitter. No joy. PLEASE DONT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY!

So these guys are the for a certain area or are they like national support.
 
Hey Guys, any idea what other antenna I can use cause I don't have line of sight of my tower and wont be able to use the directional antenna that came with the modem.

yeah you can, I think you can cancel in the first 2 weeks, without paying a cancellation fee, I might be wrong though, but I am sure its some CPA thing.

Also you can cancel and you pay a cancelation fee.

I am unfortunately optimistic , and despite all evidence I still believe there is hope for better internet.

Take antenna, point it and move around slowly. Use speed test to track the speeds..the direction that gives u the best speed.. That's the direction u shud mount it in

Also in the area. In the same boat , speeds are lower than what I had on my 2Mb ADSL. Doesn't matter 1800/2300 speeds are useless.

I'm in the same boat now. Used to get 30mbps down and now I'm lucky if I get 2mbps.

I'm in Equestria, Pretoria.

Seems like they are over subscribing their towers.
