Hi. I'm looking for some good desktop speakers, preferably a 2.1 system. Everywhere I check, the Logitech z623 is recommended, however it seems like nobody has it here anymore. Any other suggestions? Or where do you suggest I import this from? My budget is up to R3K.
To be used for Music mainly.

Dude. Get the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks.

Just replaced my Logitech Z2300 with it. Sound quality is alot better.

Look for the spec of the Z623 and then look for the latest model number - they change the cosmetics mostly but the drivers are the same - so you should be able to find something in the same class that is newer

I'd recommend getting a pair of entry level studio monitors if music is your thing.

I've got a pair of these for my PC: https://www.audiomart.co.za/mobile/...-4799?osCsid=ab0dffcb8e5cc9560dcd80fc0f8790a9

This. The sound quality on those logitech's are laughable at best. I know this since I used to own the much better albeit older and no longer produced Z2300's. The new ones have cheaper components now and feature crappy DSP filtering to try make the boomy subwoofer and useless single driver satellite speaker sound adequate and reach most of the audible spectrum (Spoiler alert: It cant).

I've seen a demo of these a few years ago. I'll look into this.

They sold out :(

Where are you located? If you have a music store nearby (like a Paul Bothners, etc) then they may have some of these, or similar, in stock. I also found this link (https://www.ubuy.za.com/catalog/pro...MI5orXs57V2gIVzrztCh3wfQwbEAQYAiABEgKKb_D_BwE) but not sure I trust it.

Also just make sure if you do go this route that you have enough space as their footprint is quite large compared to small satellite speaker, I have mine mounted to the wall on speaker stands to keep them (and their vibrations) off the desk.
