Some of the Sharks supporters are up in arms, it seems? They are saying that they were robbed because of a knock on by Bryan Habana during the last passage of play (which I didn't notice).

Can someone prove/disprove this?

There's no need to prove/disprove anything. All this tells us is that Sharks supporters are a bunch of sour losers. They can't take the fall, poor folks. ;)

The dictionary of Rugby fans define this as follows:

Statement - The ref sucked.

Definition - My team lost.

hehehehheheheh

when your team suffers defeat then all the excuses come out.

its history people

Bulls won :D sharks lost............maybe they should never of given that massive gap to let Habana run through??? so its not the ref, they got themselves to blame!

Frankly the Bulls deserved to win because the sharks choked and were out played in the second half. The sharks couldn't win their own lineouts or even lost their own scums. Plus missed penalties at the posts and for touch.

But having said that the savage should have been sent off for that horrific attack(because that is what was) on Percy. Sickening that he scored the "winning" try  . But that was probably the Bulls game plan. Shake up Percy and give him high balls. Another Bulls player threw a punch not 2 minutes later and should have got a yellow card.

So yeah Walsh did cost the sharks the match but the sharks also gave it away

Poor Sharks fans should blame Steyn for not goaling the try (that should not have been - knock on or double move - pick your flavour) and for not booting the ball into touch after the hooter went.

This victory will be recorded in the history books without any attachments.

2007 Bulls 20 Sharks 19 and not
2007 Bulls 20 Sharks 19 but booh hoo the ref cheated, and the Sharks were the better team and Bryan Habana took out Percy and there was a knock on, and and and...

I am inclined to agree, history is written by the winners...

Steve Walsh = **** that cost the Sharks the victory, end of story but the result still stands and no one can change that. The Sharks lost the match, but the Bulls did not win it!

Where's the trophy again?

Read what I said again, you can have the trophy but you have it by default. Enjoy it for a year knowing your have it through some ones elses error (the ref) and not from your own makings. Well done for that, you must be so proud.

SPAM:D

lol refs aren't perfect and there were questionable decisions given against both sides. I'm sure the Bulls could also argue that they deserved a few more points through ref errors. It's all part of the game, just accept defeat and stop being crybabies about it.

Can you prove that he cost the Sharks the match with pics or videos of the knock-on? That's the whole point of this thread, not to badmouth each others' teams but to see if the ref made an error or not.

I was at the game and so I don't have video and don't know what was shown. I like this to some it up though from News24 :D

A few dodgy decisions both ways, but it was the sharks shocking play in the last 2 minutes that cost them..

If the sharks converted the last try they would have won no doubt but they didnt and they left a huge gap for Habana to get through, so the in the end the Sharks cost the Sharks the win. If the Sharks got the kick over would there still be questions about Habana and a knock-on ?

Nevermind the conversion, if Steyn simply kicked out [instead of kicking it straight back to the bulls] right there at the end, Sharks would've won.

So yes, Sharks literally "kicked the cup to the bulls" .

Reminds me of The Simpsons episode where Homer goes to space.

You misunderstood the meaning. It means that the Bulls stole the game from under the Sharks' noses by scoring after the hooter went, not that the ref robbed them by not awarding a penalty for a phantom offense that you did not see.

Why can't people just be happy that the winners and runners up were SA teams?
