Oh yes I am very happy for the SA teams! I am a BULL supporter!
Did you check John Smit? He deserted, he is from PTA Boys High!

We should also take into account the BULLS defence was excellent. The try by J P Pietersen was an intercept, an error by Pierre Spies not a slip in defense.
The BULLS however cracked the SHARK's defence twice, and Ruaan Pienaar erred not kicking the ball into touch. This error however is directly due to the gameplan of the SHARKS... not kicking for touch, and the moment the pressure was on he was stuck in the gameplan mode...
Yes and Steve Walsh and the Linesman indeed missed a possibility of 3 penalties at the death... but Cowboys don't cry... or do they?

I will agree with this to a point, yes we threw it away. Frans managed to do that pretty much single handedly and our problem where only compounded by the ref.

Sharks threw it away no doubt about that, on second thought they kicked it away. Even I can give them advice...when the hooter goes and you're ahead in a final.......KICK the ball OUT!

I bet you you can spot mistakes made by the ref in any 10 minute passage of play for and against both teams.
If the Shark supporters think the ref cost them the game, then maybe they will never win the cup. The bulls had some shaky decision against them aswell, but they kept on playing the game and WON!!!
On Topic. I looked at hte last minutes again, I could not spot any knock on by Bryan, there was one ruck where the ball was ripped from Habanna but the bulls secured it again. I will post it on YouTube tomorrow

There was a ruck on the ground after 80mins and the bulls lost it forward, the linesman did not say anything and the ref did not see it, from the ensuing knock on the sharks gathered the ball and another ruck was formed, the ball miraculously pops out on the bulls side (for which they got a penalty earlier) they swung it to the left then the right then eventually Habana got the ball and scored. I dont think there was a knock on but there should have been a penalty at the ruck. Also the ball was taking forver to get out and Walsh should have blown his whistle for a scrum, therefore ending the game.
Yes the sharks should have kicked over the conversion and yes they should have kicked it out on the full, but they did not choke by having a try scored against them. That happens.
I have never read so much cr@p in my life in this thread from the Blue Bulls supporters in my life. Heineke Meyer even said the Sharks were the better team on the day and deserved to win, so did Bryan Habana, if you dont believe me go watch the interviews.
So maybe you hold the title of the super14 but you are not the best team in South Africa, sorry. You got lucky and thats the way finals go sometimes.

I would think that he did not hear the siren. That is the second time it's happened there. First time with the Crusaders. Makes one think maybe the siren is not loud enough.
It was a particularly galling to lose after the Sharks had scored that try with 3 minutes to go. Unfortunatley the score is on the board and us Sharks fans must be sporting about it and congratulate all those Bulls supporters whom we tried to outdo last week with our mean jokes and threats of a hiding.
I get solace from the fact that 1. an SA team won the S14 for the first time ever and 2. we live to fight another day.

Maybe some flashing lights would be in order then. Ground has to do something as they lost the final because of it.

First off, let's explain the rules to those Bulls fans who can't tell the difference between a double movement and placing the ball:
A double movement is when the player scoring moves his entire body to score whilst still being held in a tackle. Placing the ball when held in a tackle is perfectly legal and that's how Albert scored the try.
Second off, let's examine the last two minutes so that the Bulls supporters (who we all know are not the sharpest crayons in the box) can understand why we do indeed have sour grapes about what I can only call highway robbery:
Error #1: A forward pass from Bull to Bull on the far side. Touch judge doesn't see it, nor does the ref.
Error#2: A ruck forms on the near side, Sharks are in possession. The referee doesn't call a ruck when clearly there is one. Bulls hands are in the ruck and "surprise-surpise" it emerges on the Bulls side where...
Error#3: occurs and Habana (who should have been sent off in the first minute) knocks it on, unseen by our friend Walsh, and proceeds to score a try.
Error#4: Dumbass kicker from Loftus gets a second chance to kick the winning conversion when Sharks players have managed to reach him for a charge down after he moves. What does the ref do? He lets him carry on.
Call me cynical, call me sour grapes, call me whatever you like, but to lose a final like that is unfair. As far as I am concerned the Super 14 Champions are the Sharks, regardless of what the scoreboard says.

It's when you make an excuse for something you did wrong. What I produced here (for your benefit) is a complaint.
It's about time that teams are given the opportunity to appeal against wrongful conduct by match officials. Walsh should be stripped of his IRB membership because what he allowed to happen on Saturday is not what we expect from professionals.

Dude, I think you must take a few days off to calm down. We (Sharks) played the better rugby for 80 minutes. Unfortunatly the whistle didn't go for 83 minutes. Such is rugby. (Ask the Crusaders) All season we had the ball bouncing our way, the whistle going our way and the scoreboard going our way and some of us had nothing but scorn for our opposition.
We all had big mouths before the event (intensionally so), now we must suck it up. It's the nature of sport. To now insult our oppositions fans is unsporting behavior and I for one distance myself from it.
I was at the game. In case you don't think I'm passionate about the Sharks. I almost had tears in my eyes twice during the game. Once when we "won" and three minutes later when we lost.
Unfortunately for you, it is only the scoreboard that counts at the final whistle no matter who you think won. I suggest you check the record books in a year, ten years and one hundred years time and let me know if it's changed. I'll party hard for for the one I missed on 19/5/2007.
