Apparently on Total Rugby they have the final 10mins of play and there were 5 clear infringements, they more I read and "investigate" the more this thread about Walsh robbing us the more sad I become as nothing can happen to the result, it will always be a Bulls victory and in 6 months it won't even be an in-just victory any more as people will just forget.
This is a very sad time for Sharks supporters, it is a pity sanity did not prevail and Butch take that last conversion to nullify the refs short comings.
It's a pity the Bull(sh*tters) cannot be stripped of the title the way Juventus was. Maybe it's time for things like this to change?
It's even more of a pity that we can't have a public flogging of Steve Walsh!

Ultimately incorrect ref decisions are a facet of most sports (something that I feel should not be accepted).
K well here is photographic proof (this was after the knock on)
you dirty thieving bastids
Please also note how many people are off there feet at the break down and of course the plaing the ball on the ground/hands in the huck.
Why is it always like this when South African teams loose!!! Always blame the ref no matter what!!!
There are VERY VERY large grounds for all Sharks supporters to be very unhappy with this anti-climax to a brilliant season. Even with their mistakes they should according to the rules have won that match. If that is not grounds to be upset with the ref then I don't know what is!
The rules unfortunately mean nothing if they are not applied by the ref![]()
''Rugby experts are agreeing that a refereeing mistake is likely to have cost the Sharks the Super 14 title. Kiwi ref Steve Walsh has been quoted saying match officials did not see an incident during a ruck in the last minute of the game when the Bulls scored their winning try. ''
The pain of the Super 14 final defeat by the Bulls won't go away for the Sharks, and the wound opened a little deeper on Tuesday when Kiwi referee Steve Walsh admitted that the match officials missed at least one infringement by the Bulls in that last mad minute leading up to Bryan Habana's title-clinching try[James : I can't agree more to that].
As Walsh was arriving at the Sharks 22 at the ruck that preceded the Habana try, a Bulls player knocked the ball on, and then there was a deliberate act of illegal play when a desperate Bulls player lying in the ruck used his hands to steal the ball back from the Sharks' side of the ruck.
All of this occurred at the feet of the New Zealander touch judge, who seemed paralysed into inactivity, and remained frozen even when Walsh looked across to him to give a call when the ball miraculously shot across on to the Bulls side.
Walsh said that he had watched TV replays of the ruck and said the replays suggested there had been a crucial error.
