DigiChilli January Status and feedback

1meg instead of 384k...I'm still happy with a lower speed uncapped. It is here to stay.

My side is working well again, with SL running, streaming music and browsing at the same time again.
 
Speeds still considerably worse than normal today for me. Support doesn't seem to consider it a general issue and is "investigating it" but who really knows what that means.

Odd how some are suddenly very happy with speeds whereas those of us who are used to good speeds are now suddenly having a worse than normal experience.

My speeds have also been very *** since this new pipe thing has been implemented. I wont even help sending support an e-mail.

Speeds are the same on my side. Hows the gaming side? Any online gaming working besides Second Life? I see pings are down but you just never know ;)

Its called getting your support staff to post positive comments on this forum when all else has failed.
 
I do believe I have figured out the reason why Steam sometimes works and sometimes not.

Everytime steam has released an upate to their client while I was offline I woulnd't be able to log back on because it seems their client updates are blocked somehow by DC.

Update the client and viola! You can log back in...
 
Everything works and is stable on my side 30kb/s spicy 384
Which is good, could be 38kb/s but i'm not complaining

i got hold of andre and he said they were trying to fix my account, that was yesterday and im still waiting.....i got hold of them again today and still nothing.

What is Andres email addy coz i have mailed Dave so often and he hasnt replied once?
 
I think something happened to dear old Dave. Perhaps the stress prompted a nervous breakdown? Couldn't blame him if it did.

The reason I say this is I emailed Dave today about my issues but received a reply from Andre. Gave him my details but am still waiting for some sort of resolution. (And it really does appear like I am LIMITED to 20-26kB as things currently stand)

my torrent speeds increased, but now newsgroups with astraweb are maxing out around 15kb/s used to always be full line speed around 35-40 before today. Anyone having the same problem?
 
ppls, did the site change to state up to 256 kbps (kilobits per second)? so anything up to 32 KB/s (kilobytes per second) is what we will get! Stop the bi-@ching and accept the facts! I am more than happy to help these guys sort this s*** lcd out! i complained once and that was about the call centre not giving correct info! stop your cr@p and help FFS!

Seems everything has gone sub 20kB/s on my side yaaay :o

@Lightscribe did Telkom go down again? Me hopes so :erm:
 
I get a constant consistant astraweb 29-30kb/s no more on spicy 384line... Which is good for 300 bucks i guess, i'll take it.
