DigiChilli January Status and feedback

6.46 am 28th still dead. I was panicking that my router had died - Telkom said there was nothing wrong with my line, I'm connected to the dslam etc. My router reports that everything is connected except the DNS so after reading here I'm not rushing out just yet to buy a router.
 
This is no Telkom problem my Telkom Account works just fine as well as my Afrihost and Axxess account, plus on DC website its states "Network maintenance in progress". So I don't know how some could say its a Telkom problem...
 
Basjohn : As mentioned we have all hands on deck to get the issue resolved, I will post and update on the forum as soon as we are back at 100% capacity.

I contacted Telkom cuz I had a dslam port error on Tues and cable theft yesterday so I've had a very bad few days so I just gave them a quick shout on my current reference just to make sure.

The last few days was a pleasure to be on the chilli. At times i even got 3mbs on local with a spicy account. I hope this gets sorted fast.
 
Well firstly I'm not a dude - I'm a dudette :-) and I am in Richards Bay - yes the *ss end of the world - we get lots of cable theft here, it's a common occurence sadly and in my area 'african time' is very very applicable

Haha Whoops Dudette, I've only been to Richards Bay once. Its a pity about the cable theft it happens all over, but "african time" is by far the worst.
 
DC is back up but browsing is slooow on the bright side my http downloads are going at max speed capt'n so I'm happy.

Okay that's wierd :wtf: For the first time EVER since DC started I'm getting full line speed on torrents! Who messed it up :confused: lol

I haven't tried youtube but I'm guessing it won't be doing so bad ;)

Congrats DC looks like you've finally got it right on the money :)
 
At work can't test! My skype at work shows me that my skype home is up! so it works but speeds and so I cannot say.
