Did anyone check the update on DC's website... the mild account speed has been increased to 384K with burstable to 512K... Nice little bump... I dont mind running 2 sessions on my 4mb line... could get around 1mb speed

256kB/s + 256kB/s = 512Kb/s so nope no 1mb sorry (unless I'm wrong :p) :o Speeds maxing out agian at 23kB/s here oh well :)
 
My downloads from astraweb still suck! I dont know what to do anymore, Im gatvol...

Yeah, they keep changing the packages & website, but it would be really nice if these amateurs could add it to the first page of this topic - with reasons. :(

Speeds are going down, down, down oops mean gone :whistle: Guess seeing as I got good speeds last night tonight I'm gonna get almost no speeds - roll on tomorrow with a possibility of good speeds :)
 
I signed up last night and used a credit card.
I just want to see how they are for a month.

Ive emailed them for a user name and password and have not heard anything, not one reply/

Should I just call them?

Yes you can and you get your details if not you should recieve them in 24 hours of payment.

Speeds are really wonky t osay the least, last night I noticed Iwas moved to my 'slow' ip again and I found pidgin to be useless, but now speeds are still wonky and pidgin works at least :)
 
Well it hasnt been 24 hours yet hehe.

Reason I used a CC was because I thought it would be immediate just like all the other guys are :/

P.S Just called them, the guy said they do not do activations on a weekend.
So first impressions are pretty bad. Dont tell me 24 hours and then exclude weekends...

well i was getting full speed at one stage !

but now at an average of about 30k bursting to 40k for some periods...

from my calculations im averaging 36k.

so not to bad :) on a spicy
