Connection seems to have picked up again. Seem to be running flat out, averaging 25kB/s which makes me think the protocol shaper is off and they've returned to the virtual pipe scenario.

Edit: It looks like I may have spoken too soon... torrents were running flat out (24-27 kB/s) but are now back down to 2-5 kB/s

For as long as you're paying for their pathetic service, you will ALL be nothing but paying testers. Keep paying and suffering. If you haven't learnt that your complaints fall on deaf ears yet, you guys deserve this service. Sorry if I don't seem patient/compationate/willing to give them a chance but they are plain k@k, and you guys keep paying in the hope that something will eventually change....so sad.

I have not had browsing for over a week. I phoned and spoke to Sinsa Sat morning, said it would be back on shortly, still nothing. I told them that I was prepared to offer my services to them with regard to customer service, as there is none.

Been switched back to what I thought was a faster IP but alas speeds still won't go above 20kB/s. I got the feeling DC is trying to even out it's bandwidth evenly but are going at a snails pace doing it. If the whole news server is chowing up a lot of their bandwidth story is true then when it launches I suspect 2 presents for us all 1) A news server 2) Speed upgrades :D

Now back to the dungeon for me.... :)

DC went down for a few minutes and is back up and I seem to be getting some speed bursts, dunno how long it'll last but here's hoping it will :)

EDIT: Over 2 hours and still bursting! Averaging 30kB/s :D Hopefully this lasts and hopefully everyone else receives these speeds, it's only fair :p

EDIT2: Speeds are now back to normal bursting slightly up to 25kB/s you can tell more people are on line. Damn bandwidth hoggers :whistling:

Well I Signed up Saturday Evening.
Got a username and password today, got home at around 5:30 Tried it out.
Could not load half the pages, could not stream any audio from Winamp and got a DL speed of +- 4Kbps

I have sent them a mail requesting a refund ASAP.
This was NOT as advertised!!!

Bloody shocking if you ask me!

You know sometimes i just wish stuff work out but with digichilli i dont know....just as it seems things are getting better then i all goes to hell not even lightscribe is comeing up for them ...... so DC please give us updates if you update then we cant get upset but if you dont you arnt going to have any clients left at the end of the day....so shape up or ship out....because even screamer is looking inviting at this stage.

Doesn't surprise me that they're still struggling...... stop wasting your money. Yes "you're saving" but if you give a man R5 for purified water and he sells you normal stanky tap water, will you keep buying from him just because it saves you a couple of bucks or go buy from a guy who's legit?

Chantel is the head of the accounts department so I guess contact her?

Speeds are still around 21kB/s today with a chance a baby bursts and a slight chance of torrents. Tomorrow's forecast is... Better prehaps :)

Morning all.......

even though I battle to browse and it takes ages to download I still get a lot of downloading done......for the price I pay at DC I wouldn't even last half a month anywhere else and I would never get even half of the downloading....

So no I ain't going anywhere......DC is still the cheapest and the best for me.....
