DigiChilli January Status and feedback

I really wanted to join DC, but after reading this thread I think think I will wait another month or two to let these guys sort out their network.
 
Speeds seem to be stuck at a max of 18kB/s today :sick: Oh except for torrents which still are sucky at best :)

Not secure for credit card eh? Then just do it via EFT :D but still it's kinda bad they can't secure the one thing that'll make them profit :whistle:
 
I am canceling my account with them, slow speeds! (can get a better option at vodacom business 64kbs @ R 450p/m uncapped. Dedicated account, not shared on 200:1 like other ISP`s) unsecured credit card processing. Had enough!
 
So after 20 msgs via skype, and e-mails, and then a mail to their accounts department, my account in now canceled...

Good luck guys. If you can get this sorted out, I will re-join, but until then.. enjoy
 
just had a talk with one of the staff and guess what, they no longer offer 2 concurrent connections. but they are currently in a meeting discussing it. so guess thats it for me, i am out too. now where to go from here?! yeah, good old openweb.

Use to have one of those, always worked like a charm, its only the R899 price tag that was a bit mouch for me, just bought a house, so everywhere I can save I'll have too. Am moving end of March, so will see when I have my phone line installed, which ISP to use

Shhhttttt!!!!! Don't tell them, now they will throw the switch again.....maybe one of their torrents finished downloading that is why you are getting such great speeds
 
DC will be out of business within the next couple of months.

I'm having to download 24/7 just so I can hit about 45gb for the month.
Keeping in mind having to turn off the pc when the lovely jhb thunderstorms hit.

First company to come along with say a 50gb cap for R300, I'm pretty sure all the spicy users will move.

Having feedback from Dave used to be great. Then he stopped. So did Andre.
Pity.
 
If anyone subscribes with DC for Feb they need to get their head examined

They are probably busy downloading "Internet shaping for Dummies", that is why the speeds are going to pot. :D J/K of course, am bored so need to pass the time at work
 
Mine is essentially dead. The odd thing is my partner on the other half of my mild account is getting great speeds.
