DigiChilli January Status and feedback

If your getting dodgy speeds just give them a phone call. The key thing is to be nice. I phoned a few days ago because my connection was very poor and they were extremely helpful. The one guy even skipped lunch to stay and fiddle until he sorted out the problem.

until next problem...

Yes one thing I have to say is that the supoort has vastly improved, I send them an email yesterday around 5, got a phone call 5 minutes later and one an hour later just to make sure all is good.....its still not good DC, I want to break the 20KBs barrier! But thats a support call for later today

Morning everyone

I thought you all would like to know there is a network problem with DC at the moment so if you're getting slow speeds that's why. Phoned DC and that was the answer to my slow speeds, I'll be updating with any new information when and if I get any :)

Max speeds are 19kB/s

thanx man...at least some hope that it will get back to normal

No news from DC yet, but my speeds are starting to improve sorta. I'm getting bursts of up to 29kB/s though it doesn't last long :p I'm guessing DC will phone after they fix whatever the problem is.

Ooh and as I type this my speeds are mainly staying over 20kB/s :D Is any one else getting speeds improvements at all? and yes any bursting you didn't have before counts ;)

Yip just noticed speeds are now running at about 24KB/s and not 20KB/s anymore
And also every few seconds a burst to 28KB/s

Astraweb still doesn't work for me. Anyone else able to use Astraweb or other news servers? Feedback please

Same here, but on the bright side when this happened a few days ago it came back up with amazing speeds. So I'm hoping this is DC fixing the network problem :)

Yes but then 1 and a half days later the speeds went down again and untill it got to 20KB/S, and that happend last week thursday same day same downtime.

Back up and not so bad but we'll see how it goes. DC had a powercut so they are rebooting the system lol back-up generators FTW? :D

1.33kB/s max on free user download, but I noticed if I use a rapidshare premium link generator then I get about 24kB/s which is the max I'm able to get at the moment

Hi can you please explain:
... but I noticed if I use a rapidshare premium link generator then ...
. what does this mean? Is it the same as a paid for rapidshare account?

A rapidshare premium link generator is a site that is supposed to let you download files like a premium member (no wait times, big files & faster speeds) but usually you have a certain limit your allowed to download. It's free which is awesome but still I'd only suggest it if there is a file 200mb+ in size you want to download. I use this site http://rsplg.com/ but there are many others, google is our friend after all :)
