For me the max I can get on a free user download is 1.33kB/s, but you'll probably get more as a premuim user. I can get a constant 24.3kB/s if I use the rapidshare premuim link generator. Can any using a rapidshare premuim account give us the speeds you're getting? Oh and btw What are you trying to download from rapidshare? I'd suggest use www.filestube.com to search through multiple hosting sites including rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire, hotfile etc. If there is something like movies ,music, tv shows or hell even games you're looking for I suggest mediafire - it's free + you can use a download manager
International is near dead my side. Anyone else have the same problem?

Speeds have dropped a lot, I'm getting around 8-14KB/s with Rapidshare.

i have been a paid member of rapishare for a year now. i do not struggle to find anything i need, or want. using multiple sites, dedicated to rapidshare links. i have not tried mediafire yet. is it any good, and are there speed and download limits for users?

Truck of kaak speeds here too at the moment.
I think the occasional 1-4kBs spurts are to make us appreciate the general 20kBs scenario (even when we rightfully shouldn't).

Same this side, very low speeds, max i get is 9KB/s
Mediafire is free and allows for 2 parallel downlaods and unlimited downloads. When DC was on the old network (pre virtual pipe) I was getting 40kB/s+, there might be a limit to speed but still I don't think you'll notice much. There is some good stuff on mediafire.
I really wonder what DC did because international is stand still. 8mb's up&down combined in 42 minutes

Getting 40KB/s now after DC died but the two files that were downloading before DC died won't connect/resume to Rapidshare.
oh well, small price to pay for great speeds, will try them later on or just restart the downloads.
Edit: Scratch that as I hit the send button DC died on me again. Lol, just can't catch a break.
Edit: Rapidshare dead here, DC must be working on it, Hopefully not to slow the speeds for Rapidshare downloads.

Rapidshare is back up and running, hope it stays up.
No news from DC yet, but my speeds are starting to improve sorta. I'm getting bursts of up to 29kB/s though it doesn't last long
Ooh and as I type this my speeds are mainly staying over 20kB/s
Speeds were quite good about mid day into the afternoon but now only about 4kB/s I am also more impressed with their Service and I get the idea they are really trying to get it right. I wish them the very best.
