Indeed, all it takes is for a few people to get more than they pay for and we'll all be in the same rocky boat we were during December/January. People should expect 256 or 512 on a Spicy/Mild account, end of story. 4mb uncapped has it's own price for a reason.

Nope nothing less than 40kb/s my side. I do seem to have nice jumps to around 58kB/s but that's impossible on a 384k line :p

I was getting the same as you but now I'm struggling to get 1KB/s with the odd burst to 10KB/s for 1 second every 30 odd seconds.
 
Have you tried hard reseting your router? Sometimes that does help me or switching IP's.

Yes, I restarted my router before I posted. Thanks for trying to help XineoX, much appreciated.
After an hour and a half of extremely slow speeds my speeds are now back to the 30-48KB/s but I am getting random disconnects every now and then.

Edit as I posted this my speeds dropped back down to 0-6KB/s it stays like this for a minute or so then it bursts to 30-40KB/s for 10 seconds and then back down to 0-6KB/s.

I haven't got a clue as to why this is happening.

Great to hear. Don't worry about the random disconnecting, I had that a few days ago and it seems to be gone. I just hope this means DC is doing something good :D

I'm wondering when the speed upgrades happen what sort of speeds/service levels we'll get from DC, I will admit it seems DC have sorted out the speed limiting but still I can't wait to see what happens :)

My speeds came right properly after midnight, I was getting between 35-50KB/s average. It reached 58KB/s quite frequently and 67KB/s a few times and for 1 second only I got 80KB/s(no clue how this happened) all on a 384 line.

I'm just glad my speeds are back to normal and haven't slowed down since.

Now I'd like to point out to all the nay sayers that this is the new DC ^^^ Yes it slows down once in a while (happened to me like 10 minutes ago and lasted about 2 minutes luckily). The best is that those speeds ^^^ are everyday all day, no 15kB/s on rapidshare/20kB/s on news servers during the day like MWEB nope we get full line all the time! :D I think DC has become one of those premium ISP's which started small and now are better than ever. I'm more than happy to pay R300 for Unshaped & Uncapped. So please give DC a try, you WON'T regret it! :D

BTW nice to speeds are still bursting :p

let them make a nice not so expensive offer for 4meg users and i will try them again. Was with them from the start, had some good times and quite a few bad times as well
 
Ah another great weekend with DC I'm sure I've done near 6 gigs since Friday @ Midnight til now. How'd everyone else weekend go? :)

Nothing on my side been great the whole month, but it did dip in speeds for a couple minutes (on thursday I think it was). How is your speeds now? Better hopefully.
