DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Don't about you guys but DC for the last 48 hours has been AMAZING :D For the first time ever I'm getting full line speed on everything!!! :wtf: Hell even when using rapidshare free user downloads I get full line or at least 35kB/s! Youtube even works faster than normal :)
 
It's really sad to see how other ISP's (using IS's backbone & bandwidth mainly) crumbling and going down the toilet. Afrihost went from hero to less than zero in less than a month. MWEB seems to be the only ISP holding up, which seems to be on/off at times.

Everytime I read another "WTF MY UNCAPPED ISP SUCKS!" thread I can't but help giggle like a school. Why? Simply because lots of people complained about DC and jumped ship, now while the other ISP's sink DC is looking like a cruise liner :D

I am so happy I stayed with DC. I hope more people will try DC giving DC more money to give us even better services! Thanks DC :)

Afrihost made one big mistake, and that was the same mistake Digichilli made. When the crap hit the fan Dave stopped posting and left everybody in the dark. That p!ssed alot of people off, cause I would have to guess that the mybb community made a large percentage of their subscription at that stage. Afrihost learned the hard way by copying Digichilli.

Digichilli is nou cruise liner yet, their network may be a speed boat, But the few people that know about them most still think they are crap. They seriously need to get a more than half-decent PR officer to help them get things right.

I'm pretty sure you are not that stupid that you don't realize that the poster left out the word "girl"? Flippen hell man using your brain to fill in a word that someone forgot to type by mistake is not that hard. :confused:

p.s. not attacking you but people in general that shoot people down for forgetting to type a word... ;)

Lol maybe it was an all girl school ;)

I actaully feel sorry for Afrihost. They screwed the proverbial* pootch with this one. If they had been honest from the start people wouldn't be pi$$ed off right now. Good Luck AH :)

*Why do I get the feeling I spelt that wrong :p

Strange thing is that one can get a business dedicated uncapped, unshaped, 4MB line cheaper (R1999) than DigiChilli HOT - only R3000 per month
 
Anybody on the Spicy package with a 384 line downloading from news servers that would like to share their experience with DC?

Thanks to Clickme I can answer you :D Getting full line speed from Astraweb news servers :)

Clickme you're right my usage might go up this month :whistle:
 
Thanks for the response. I will keep that in mind if my current ISP cant get themselves sorted. Been left without an ISP after SAOL killed all the heavy users on their network. Openweb have thus far not really worked out to well...Still weary to return to DC...
