My speeds were ok for a couple of hours but recently it went down the ****ter.

Been getting around full line speed(40KB/s on 384kbps line) since yesterday but my speed has taken a 3/4 nosedive since 18:00pm, getting around 6-15KB/s.

Ok, something weird just happened.

I rebooted and swopped antivirus'.

I have been using Kaspersky for a few days now, but rebooted the pc and router, to see if that might help with the serious slowness that was creeping into the system.

I also turned off Kaspersky and turned on ZoneAlarm again. I then tried Secondlife.

Secondlife works! 10-24KBps http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showphoto.php?photo=14188&cat=500

So, if DC did nothing today, to make SL work, then the Kaspersky antivirus is the problem.

Speeds are normal.

Seems good for gaming, only problem is these speeds are all over the place and in the 5 days I have had DC I have had at least 2 where the internet was down completely.

Still, one of the best value for money services at the moment, when it is working

Nice to find that problem for Secondlife kas can be a pain sometimes

Browsing the Net isn't all that bad, then again, browsing on a 128K ISDN line isn't that bad either...

Haven't tested a torrent because its taken 5mins to grab 106KB off Isohunt... and still going at like 175Bps.... *sigh* HTTP Downloads are shocking!! for ****s and giggles i'm trying to pull a COD4 Map off of SAIX's FileVault, HA!! 7KBps!

I remember downloading CS1.5 at this speed!

I keep getting this error when I try to download from Rapidshare.
"Cannot download the file because of timeout. Details: Cannot connect to Rapidshare.com:80"
Anybody else having this problem?
