Torrents:Very good if downloading from dc user
Terrible if any other isp

got my account details a while ago, so far really good i am downloading at 52Kb/s using a mild package(min 256). browsing is good too.

Connected this morning
Current download 1 torrent = 9 kB/s
Web browsing: Still a bit slow
You-tube streaming - Takes forever
Audio streaming: Same
HTTP Download: 16KB/s avg using Download accelerator plus
Online gaming: Must i bother? Ping too high

Please reply guys???:D
 
downloading in bytes is killing me and thats with a spicy on 4Mbps line

Yes. You need to set your router to "bridge" mode (you'll have to look through it's settings to find that) or maybe if it has it, pppoe passthrough.

Then in your OS (Windows?) create pppoe connections for the ISPs. This way you can have multiple PCs all using different accounts.

Why do you get those speeds from astra web if you are on the spicy package? Do you limit your speed or do you just not care about the rest of us?
