I'm getting about average 30KB/s from RS. used to be 100KB/s+

Morning all, well im still at rock bottom noah's ark speeds, in a 14 hour window i managed to download 201MB on torrents, this is such a joke. all other downloads are below 1.5KB/s but http browsing is still ok, it took me about 35 min to buffer a 3 min you tube video last night

We did do something. We updated the definition files! ...

... RS is one of those that moves out of 'I'll get as much as I want' into downloads. See above.

We'll adjust the total allocations after we've collected 24 hours data.

Hi Dave, can you please give the reasoning for moving RS? RS makes use of HTTP downloads, not P2P so i do not fully understand why RS is being "limited" so much. i understand that after 24hours there will be some tweaking of the definition files, but can you please help me understand why it was moved in the first place?

And of course as soon as I leave the house and can now longer monitor the link my speeds rocket up to 40kB/s! I have only just managed to connect to my monitoring link and it seems like I owe DC an apology ...

I cannot see what is using the bandwidth but I'll give DC the benefit of the doubt ...

my browsing just got very slow and my torrents have gone up to 21KB/s for the first time ever, p2p still below 1.5KB/s

My Rapidshare speeds are back to normal after restarting my router.
Viewing my Rapidshare logs, my Total Download Traffic since midnight to 08:30am was 2.5gb but I only managed around 200mb in files downloaded.
