Online apps still dont wanna log in
FTP up and down is very slow (seems to be throttled to 1kb, to update a website on that is very painful))

OK all is good on my side again.

Just FTP, and i cant log in to online apps
Torrents are slow but bearable (dont use them allot)
HTTP downloads max my line out :D

It's called a facebook page, and i don't think it has relevance to anything. It's hardly fair to claim its dividing their attention.
 
Torrents running at 5KB/s

Steam won't log in. Neither will WoW.

I'm not going to pay R300 a month just for a browsing account.
 
I must agree with DarkStarZN, I'm not paying for this crap. What the point in having uncapped if you always have to have another adsl account handy to dial when the uncapped dies...and being digichilli it will eventually die.

Never in my life have a had such bad uptime from any isp. I can understand them having a bad day, but come on, a whole weekend. I honestly don't care if they're always tweaking the network or not, but they obviously can't do it without killing the network. This to me is unacceptable.
 
My side is still running very well, i had about half an hour last night at 11:30pm when it went dead, but since then its been all good, Torrents getting up to 47KB/s and still can browse at same time.
 
My torrents still won't go over 5kB/s. (on my Telkom it does 30+ so not the torrent).
Browsing is good.
Skype works.
 
Youtube is really a ton better now, videos are now extremely watchable !
 
At the moment my GOG downloads are running at the highest speed I have seen them at so far - 9 -15K.

RS doing horribly, topping out around 4K for multi-thread download.

iTunes downloads seem to be OK at the moment, which is an improvement as it wasn't even working before.

Can't connect to Steam at all.
 
Slow torrents.

Torrents are so slow. It's not even hitting 1kBps. This is sad. Whats worse is I paid. But I guess it's worth it because in that short time that DC was working I managed to pull in almost 35 gigs. That they atleast deserve my money.
 
My torrents and RS are both still dead. RS keeps getting disconnected "by the remote server" on a premium account. Torrents just don't lift above 5kB/s.

When I fire up the Xbox I easily get up to 40kB/s and maintain that (yesterday I downloaded over 2GBs from Xbox Live) but it makes no difference to my RS and torrents.

This seems to indicate that there is capacity available on the links, but the shaper is just killing anything that looks like P2P for me. Youtube, browsing, everything else is performing fine, but if I wanted to browse the web I could use a capped account where it takes me 2 weeks to work my way through 1GB. :wtf:
 
Torrents back to non existent...5 kB/s max
512 ADSL line with Mild package R500
Youtube looked better a few minutes back, also audio streaming
HTTP Downloads = 40 + download, some occasions

Browsing = Not bad...

Don't know what DC did, connection timed out about 1 min ago, had to reset everything again...

Is this how their bursting works: Torrents 0.6 -2 kB/s sometimes 13 - 30 kB/s ?????
 
How do i multithread download rapidshare links please anyone?
