Yip i have been emailing them every few hours this last two weeks and since friday there is a tech guy from dc calling me twice a day to try sort out this 20KB/s wall i have and most other people, but he says thay working on it but not a single thing has changed or improved.
Can i ask you guys what does your ip address start with mine starts with 41.66.66

nothing from DC...even their skype rep is not answering.

i hope they are still there....

Spoke to them yesterday on the phone, emailed them about the 20KBs ceiling, so they phoned me back and asked to phone them when I was at home, which I did, and they actually answered almost immediately, informed me that they have opened a "ticket" to investigate why I am having the problem (as well as everyone else), will phone again this afternoon to see if there has been any progress

Speeds are decent here. http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showphoto.php?photo=14466&cat=500

Further explanation: http://www.myconnectionpc.com/expla...455&amaxdelay=3216&abandwidth=328000&atmacc=1

I ran about 10 tests one after the other. They all show a similar pattern. 350KB for the 1st second or so, then drops to 250KB for a few seconds then the usual drop off to 0, then the erratic bursts up to a few MBps.

Please people, download the MyConnection PC program and run tests and post the result pics here.

Here is mine http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showphoto.php?photo=14468&cat=500

I have been downloading a 1.8gig file for the past 4 days!!!!!! This is starting to really annoy me. In the past I used to be able to download about 3gigs a day, but now...

What speeds are you getting? Torrent or HTTP, FTP? Seems way too slow even for the 20kB/s everyone is getting

My IP range is 44.66.71 and I'm begining to think that's the problem. I remember when they first entered these IP ranges and everything was slooow even local barely worked. We can only wait and hope it get's fixed. :o

I got a skype reply. I asked them to get Andre to update here.. after an hour the reply was "Will do"

Nice....

Yip, also not sure what my ip is now seeing as I'm at work. But since they changed the ip range all hell broke loose... So we still waiting for the update from the DC guys.

I think all the ip start in the 40 range, its the virtual pipes they are using (kind of reminds me of Screamers NAT tables, and the horrendous speeds they delivered)
