DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Wonder why DC is so quiet of late I hope it's coz they're trying to fix the speeds :)

I thought of something funny and is in now way trying to bash DC, but what if DC had another typo on their website and should actually read:

Speeds of up to 25/6kB/s

LoL any ways things are stable but I swear my torrents are faster than HTTP :wtf:
 
my http downloads stable but slow max 15KB/s, also can finish a download, speed drops to 0 when file reaches 97% or so

I'm having the exact same thing.
Using Rapidshare and downloading with firefox(down them all)

Speeds also maxing out at about 19KB/s

Spicy with 4meg line.

just cancelled my account, uncapped does not help me if i can't finish a single download from rapidshare. Till they fix that, i will wait for something better. Was very happy with DC from the start, but the virtual pipe thing just does not seem to work. Loved the bursting while it was active and working. Hope they fix it, will re-join then again once bursting active and working. good luck for all other DC clients.
 
NO come on DC you guys need to make a plan ...this 190kbps isnt working for me then i might as well stay on my wireless which is more stable and gives me 24-25 constant...why arnt we getting 32KBps we only getting 20????

EDIT PLease ANDRE/DAVE tell us why we geeting such bad downloads ????

I am getting 20KBs on uTorrent (limited) and browsing is good. If i remove my limiter on uTorrent i get 25-30kBs which is barely under what i pay for on the spicy package.
I do get bursts going up to 70kBs with uTorrent, lasting between 10 and 30 minutes each time.

Yes but many of us have a 20kBs invisible wall and this appears as if it's some sort of badly implemented limit. That said, if they're LIMITING it below 256kbps then it certainly isn't UP TO is it? (Basically, if it can never achieve those speeds - even for small periods of time - then it isn't "up to")
 
If they had the news server up and you could download cached content at near line speed the 20kBs invisible wall wouldn't be an issue for me. Also this multi day silences from DC is simply unacceptable.
 
DC website network status now reflects "ALL GOOD".

NOT!!!!
 
What happened to the updates from DC in the threads LOL...

Sorry DC, i'm canceling...there goes the 40 mil....

no burst = DC burst
