It can take up to 24 Hours, but if you send proof of payment it'll go a lot faster :)

Well I had speed bursts!For a few minutes! Oh sweet 25kB/s how I adore you...not ;) Just shows me DC is tweaking :D

when making payments through debit, arent they supposed to take the money out. So how do we give the Proof of Payment? Its them who is supposed to send the confirmation. I am still awaiting for their reply on this.

If it shows on your bank statement that money has been deducted then if you don't have your details in 24 hours I'd say phone them and make sure while on the phonethey email you your user id and password, I hope that helps :)

Yes it is, on the Jan invoice it stated 20% off for Feb and other people have said the also only paid R240 on the spicy account :)

Speeds seem to again be stuck in the mid 20's bu t at least it's getting faster not slower!
 
My line is stuck between 180kbps to 190kbps .. HTTP, youtube, skype, torrents .. no matter what i do
 
Anyone having problems with news servers? My Bandwidth meter says i've done 1.7 Gb today which sucks but when i check my news client it's still downloading the 700MB file from yesterday? wtf? Is DC dropping packets?

HTTP Downloading pretty well: 4 connections DAP 25KB/s -36KB/s 1 Download, no torrents running and browsing
PIDGIN = Working flawlessly
YouTube video streaming = Has improved a lot
Torrents = When HTTP is good, torrents suck...but recently they both are even...Getting 20 -23 kB/s avg total on 3 healthy torrents, drops occasionally to 5-6 kB/s
Online gaming = Tried Eudemons online, work perfectly

ADSL User Stats

30-JAN-10 = 1 817 280 677 bytes
31-JAN-10 = 2 153 546 722 bytes

1 520 362 799 bytes Downloaded for today

AWESOME!!! DC is coming along

Bit concerned how there are some people here not affected by this "20kBs" invisible wall while others still are. Think it's worthwhile contacting DC call center (as Andre delightfully ignores emails as of late it seems) for a "connection test" or to simply try being a patient bunny?
 
My news server does not want to connect to astra web. Anyone else having the same problems?
 
Lately DC's Speeds suck! I don't get the 32KB/s and sitting at 20KB/s on downloads. Browsing is almost Impossible...

i do not even get 20KB/s more like 13-15KB/s
