browsing is a bit sluggish, but it has improved a lil bit. hope it gets better

It's been like that since DC launched, somehow I get lots of timeouts on web browsing - tested with my SAIX account and browsing on SAIX is fine, so me not changing any of my settings ;)

I'm sure they gonna sort it out, soonish :D

Yup, sounds (and looks) like they're killing bugs off the list at a nice pace now!
 
It looks like the upstream is bigger than the downstream if you change them around maybe it will get better i might be wrong

Funny, very funny my bru, you make it sound like a light switch :D - Please read Dave's email on the 4 major areas involved...it should give you an idea of how complex all of this is.

Finally :D First time since having a DC account am I getting solid 15-25kb speeds on a download :) Fluctuating a lot between those speeds but not getting much lower. Things are looking up...

Just need steady 20+ speeds :whistle:

Edit: Down to 10-12k, oh well even that is better than I had before

Edit: Just hit full line speed for a split second :)

I cant connect with DigiChilli account. Have an error when it registers computer to the network. Any have/had the problem?

Grim3vil is right in a sense. Our upstream DSL isn't under load at all. The upstream will perform better at this stage. We can't swop them around or everyone will get 512 down.

Yes - call them and ask them to reset your password. Assuming you are talking about connecting to Digichilli's network?

So we have a 256k down and 512k up am i right if so that is the problem the order is back to front
 
what speeds will one get kbs wise with a 4meg line on the spicy package?

No, it's not the other way around. The downstream is minimum 256k, it's burstable all the way up to 4mbit. It's not a 256k constant down and nothing more. If you think the problem is them having the pipes backwards, why don't you go and help them fix it, instead of insulting their intelligence and implying incompetence.
