Call it 'imperial' TB's and make it 6.5 - 6 500 000 000 little thingies.
divide by 8 days = 812 500 000 little thingies.
divide by 24 hours = 33 854 167
divide by minutes = 564 236
divide by seconds = 9 404

amidoingitright?

In the absence of information - 'stuff' will be created ...

You can work on a round figure of 10 Gigabytes / hour for every 10 Mbits/s. It gets slightly more complicated with upstream, downstream and different parts/sizes in the network. e.g. IPC, local, International and breakout.

Oh... and we're not closing, but Hilly is allowed Xmas lunch with his mom.

The support desk is closing on those 2 days only.

I reckon someone needs to splash out and send Hilly and his mom to a nice restuarant for Xmas lunch :D...

Say something like Saigon (just to keep it traditional :p)

I think we all club together and send someone around with tasty treats for the office :p Or perhaps only after the network is up and stable ;)

See this is what ****ing irritates me about digichilli! I'm on a 384 line and I dont get 20KB. How can they allow others to exceed the speeds of 384KB when there piece of **** network cannot handle it?

1 thing to fix their network would be this:

They should HARD THROTTLE every single connection to 384KB as of right now.

Everyone cannot complain as they will still get their promised 384KB from digichilli. Dave catch a ****ing wake up!

4MB users: 200KB per second
384KB users: 15KB per second

You targeting low speed uncapped yet you screwing over all the guys with the low speed lines. Go figure :mad::mad:

Dave?, make it happen.....PLEASE!

And what exactly would that achieve?

What about all the people who have bought medium accounts or hot accounts?

meh this is sooooooooooooo lame i want int cap and fast . look wat i paid 4 . its a breach of contract meaning that one could get some lawyers involved, we have giving you a chance to fix the problem for at least 3 week now. I believe its time for action.

Yawn...For the f**king umpteenth time...They said that those that are unhappy, must simply ask for a refund. Now STFU.

You could easily but will cost more than the amount you paid for the account and any reasonable costs incurred by DC's lack of service... Your best bet would be to inform the Office of the Consumer Protector or set out your complaints and grounds for breach of contract and send it to DC and hope they refund you ;)

See above.

We still have an outstanding upstream issue. We're dropping a large % of international traffic when it hits London.

This is having huge backup and retransmit issues. It is being still being addressed.

Thanks for the update, Dave. :)

Go show them where to plug in the cable ;)

We're not back at pre-school. Offer advice, sarcasm we all have tons of...

What I have experienced today

* Increased connections on torrents (Increased speeds, 50kb-60kb)
* Decreased latency to local IRC servers
* Steam downloads started
* The ability for me to RDP into my PC from work

Seems things are going smoothly for me at the moment. Will have to test Gaming (Modern Warfare 2) on Wednesday night

Noticed this too, well seeded torrents are downloading well.

Any experience with online gaming though? I'm going to check out a game or two in a minute. Really comfortable reading here. Could almost take a nap. o_O
