Hi Dave, i have been trying pppoe sessions since sunday night still unable to connect/authenticate

rather frustrating even though i only have a test account, would love to actually test

keep us updated please

I'm still getting packet loss when pinging the US.

Latency is 500ms which is fine, but I'm getting 12% loss when pinging steampowered.com. This has been happening for a while and is a bit of a worry - there shouldn't be packet loss on ADSL. I've never experienced it before with any other provider.
 
Do i need to do that (Dialing the PPPoE from your PC ) if i already have a connection. will it maybe pick my speeds up?
 
went to restart my router and now I got no DC...had to change to my telscum account....

And how do you Dialing the PPPoE from your PC
 
signed up, got the login details but can't seem to login is there something I should know??
 
hey sally theres a link further up. i used that one to do it..

but now after i tried that i got an error message saying "The remote computer did not respond".

Care to comment Dave?
 
how did u connect? were u already connected? or did u disconnect and then connect through xp?...

or whatever os u got
 
Hi Dave - just wondering if you guys have any a plan, strategy or idea when we will be receiving our full account speeds? Or is it a case of fixing bugs as you find them? Thanks

confused2009, your best bet is going to be to keep on trying. I get that as well from time to time, if you setup your PPPOE connection correctly, it will eventually connect.

ok, anyone know why Shoutcast not working??? tested a small download and that is fine but I actually wanted my conn for more than DLing.

Shayd I'm not sure about Shoutcast, but if you check this thread you will see that there seems to be a number of issues regarding certain services and protocols that have yet to be resolved satisfactorily.

Make sure your router is in bridge mode. If your using half bridge make sure your router is not using your 1 concurrent connection.
